I was a little nervous to reserve a room here because the price was so much lower than other hotels, and the last review was old. Was very pleasantly surprised. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly - explained how to use my USA debit while in town. The room was no frills, a little dated, but nice and clean. It is a short walk to St. Catherine Street, which is where the bulk of the fun stuff is. Note: Google Maps kept directing me to the Double Tree when I entered their address. Be sure to double check the location. The entrance to the parking garage is on the side street. Would stay here again.

Located next to Chinatown, close to old part of city and port, walked to McGill, Mont Royal, etc. Lovely corner room on fourteenth floor with great views of the city, especially at night. No problems with dog, gravel pee pad close to hotel entrance for the “quick one” (but be sure to read pet policy including fees). Nice little kitchen, spacious room (studio). Limited public space at hotel (but lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby). Would recommend.

Spacious room but they didn’t provide any doggie bed or bowls like other hotels do. Access to the green areas of the hotel was not available for dogs.
