  Priced right, convenient location. Room and hotel area was clean. Decent breakfast, like the bagels and cream cheese.

  Clean inside, but grounds need work

  Clean room, good bed and pillow, a shower instead of a tub (love it), two chairs, and good light for reading. Some repairs need to be done to the flooring, so someone doesn't hurt their foot on the raised boards. Breakfast is classic hotel food, but a notch above. The outside needs serious pick up of cigarette butts, paper, bottles, etc. The entrance has a hazard, where the sidewalk is cut out for a vent. Someone could easily walk into the drop and hurt themselves. Needs immediate attention. Good parking for an RV or trailer. Cracker Barrel is next door for meals.

  Good stay

  Great price and NO PET FEE! Friendly staff. Had suite with a large living room and king sized bed in separate room! Hotel was obviously older, but you could tell they tried hard to keep it clean. A few things to repair.

  A fine place

  Cracker Barrel was walking distance, shared the parking lot. Hotel was clean enough, could have been nicer for the $$$. Friendly staff, coffee and breakfast were just so-so.

  Maggie was treated well and breakfast for us was better than expected. Would have liked a first floor room, but perhaps none were available when reservation was made.

  Bugs and garbage

  We arrived here after a long day of driving to find an air cleaning machine on the dresser with the business card of a bed bug removal company on the top. We thought about asking for a different room, but were afraid to get one that hadn’t been cleaned of bed bugs. The dumpster outside was overflowing with garbage all around it. There was a nice green space for dog walks, but the trash can for dog waste was also overflowing and there were poop bags on the ground around it. The room was clean, but there were some faint stains on the bedspread.

  Dog friendly for sure!!

  I was able to make reservations within 3 hours of arrival and get a pet friendly room, so for that I am grateful! The room’s cleanliness was questionable. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was kind. But next time, I’ll pay a little more for a clean room.

  Fine but not the cleanest room. Bathroom floor was pretty bad. But the bed, linens, etc were great. Price was right. Staff were really nice.

  The dog walking area was close by, our room was on the main floor as requested. The room was clean and the breakfast had what we needed; coffee, juice, eggs, sausages, yogurt, fruit, etc. We stayed here on our way through Lexington on the way north and on the way south.

  Great stay. Rooms are newly renovated; very clean. The lobby and hallways still need work but no big deal. Very welcoming to our little doggo!

  The housekeeper who has no pups asked if we were okay for water and bowls for our pups. That was really great! It was nice with no carpets and quiet too.

  1 bone quality

  Overpriced for quality. Black mold in ceiling above shower, dirty shower, dirty looking stained towels, bedspread, and sheets. Lacking toiletries and basic accommodations. Very uncomfortable stay.

  The hotel was under construction and the hallways were a construction site .
  Once in the room, they were nice EXCEPT for the mattress which was hard, the room had a basement feel, as it was partially underground. Our window was located at the side entrance and light and noise came in from the side entrance all night.
  The staff was nice and breakfast was good.

  Vinyl flooring! Recently remodeled. Halls were a mess with spackle and paint but the room was nice. Front desk staff were wonderful!

  Hotel condition is not good

  As of end of May 2021 the hotel is very much run down and not in a good condition (tons of stuff is closed like the pool). The hotel is starting a renovation which is desperately needed.

  Great location

  I was mostly pleased with everything at the LA Quinta. The beds were comfortable and we were given a handicapped room since it was on the ground floor. They also provided poop bags. The only negative was the room had a bit of a musty smell. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

  If I could give a zero I would

  The rooms were stinky and dirty as was the parking lot. I was really tired and I didn’t have the energy to cancel and search for another room, so I figured I would tough it out for one night. BIG MISTAKE The other guests (think multiple unrelated groups ) were up all night. There was was some guy screaming at his girlfriend, loud talkers, people milling around in the hallway, slamming doors, smoking in the building and of course barking dogs. This noise went on until 4:30am. Then started up again promptly at 6:00am. What little sleep I got was populated by nightmares of people breaking into my room. In the time of COVID-19 I consider this to be a dangerous place to stay. Save yourself! You are better off sleeping in your car.

  Hotel was a little rundown. Appeared to be clean and it's nice there is no charge for a pet, but then you probably get what you pay for. Breakfast is only served until 9, nothing much to choose from.

  No, thank you

  I really don't want to have to leave a negative review but this place is not clean!

  I understand that you have "pet rooms" but the room they put us in reeked of stale urine. I opened the door, got a whiff of it, turned around and walked out.

  The man at the front desk was able to move us to another room. This one smelled of air freshener/grandma's perfume so I was able to convince myself that it was ok and clean. As the air freshener faded, a slight smell of urine started creeping in, but not nearly as bad as the other room. Now, it's nearly midnight and I feel rude making a fuss and requesting a third room so I'm just going to stay.

  And it's not just the smell. There are black stains on the sheets and hair in the bathroom (not mine). I just can't convince myself that this place is clean, but I've been driving all day and I'm tired and have to do more driving tomorrow.

  I'm giving 2 bones because the room is quiet and the bed is comfortable, but I won't stay here again and I don't recommend you do either.

  Would not stay again

  The hotel location is great. Near a gas station, highway, and Cracker Barrel.
  This is the worst La Quinta I have ever stayed in. The hotel needs major rennovations. The front desk staff was the best part of the hotel. I feel like this used to be a hotel for chain smokers for decades. The carpets need to be changed. The whole bathroom smelled like an ashtray. I sank into the middle of the King sized bed. When I arrived, there was already food in my fridge. The linen was old. The recliner was ancient.
  Only stay here if this is your last option.

  Good Stop Over

  While the rooms could use an upgrade, it’s great for a stop over. The staff was very considerate and gave us a room in the back right next to a door, great for 2 dogs.
  Good continental breakfast, bagels, waffles, coffee, muffins.
  Rather quiet for a dog friendly hotel :)
  Lots of grass for potty breaks.
