  Great for the price!

  This was my first time staying with my 1yo GSD in a hotel. She did great! There was an entire dog friendly floor which was filled during our stay. The rooms were spacious. It was noisy at times from the occasional dog barking but that was to be expected and it was quiet during the night. The outside potty area was small and would be difficult for people with reactive dogs, however, just behind the hotel the next block had a neighborhood with small grass patches along the sidewalks that was perfect for us.

  My dog was bit

  After we checked in and we were heading up to our room, we got out of the elevator, turned the corner, and there was a little kid with his parents holding a pit bull. They kept standing there as we were trying to get past them to get down the hallway to our room and when we walked by, their dog bit my dog in the leg. My dog immediately started limping and was limping for the rest of our weekend stay down there. The hotel claims on their website that: “Aggressive pets are not permitted in the hotel. Management reserves the right to evict based on pet behavior.” Yet, the guests were not evicted and were allowed to stay their entire stay. We did not feel comfortable walking in and out of our room knowing that it’s the only pet floor and that we could come into contact with the other dog again.

  Luckily, the hotel did provide us with first aid supplies for my dogs leg, but that was about it. They claim that this has never happened before and that they weren’t sure what to do. So we received no refund for the extreme inconvenience. My dog is super friendly with dogs, but we had him muzzled for his safety and got others because I know he is protective of me and gets reactive towards people. If your dog is aggressive/reactive towards other dogs or people please be responsible and take the correct actions to keep your pet and others safe.

  The hotel is clean on the dog floor is also clean. I was very upset that the pet owners did not clean up with their BIG dog owners. The hotel staff was friendly toward my pup and I felt welcomed to the hotel. I felt safe to leave my pup when I went to the ocean and pool etc. Thanks a lot.

  Overall good value

  This was our second visit to this hotel, it has been repainted and freshened up a bit. They added a small potty area on the south side if the building. Room was ok, but needed detail cleaning. Examples being corners of bathroom, behind bathroom door and carpeting. Most dog friendly rooms we have been to do not Have carpeting. The thing that irked me on both visits is that outdoor trash cans were not emptied daily, so garbage would pile up for days. Looked disgusting. Staff at the front counter were very nice.

  I loved the room and everything was good on my end. I did however hear a lot of complaints from other residents and could smell cat urine when they cleaned one of the rooms.

  Great place to go

  The service was great at the Fenwick Inn, decided to leave a day earlier was getting cooler out and we did all the things we wanted to achieve there as it was our first vacation ever and never being in Ocean City MD before

  Absolutely terrible

  Check in was at 4pm and room was available and did not get in until 7pm . The room was horrible and smelled and there was urine still in the toilet and I called and was told the manager himself checked it . Crumbs where on the bed and it was so bad I had to leave and had to call a friend that lives in ocean city to stay at her house .

  Left with no place to stay

  I drove 5 hours With 2 big dogs to be told that my reservation was canceled By the hotel and they don’t know why, so they have no rooms available for me I was told sorry we can’t help you when I told them We had no place to stay now, I had to drive 3 hour the other way to to get a dog friendly room for the night, I felt let down and like they didn’t care about my safety didn’t even try to help me find another hotel , I’ll never go back

  Call to confirm your booking if you go because they will cancel without telling you and have no reason why

  Nice location - good hotel

  The hotel was very accommodating. Nice cozy, rooms. Nice staff. Very nice pool! The only thing stopping me from giving this place 5 bones is there wasn’t a real place to walk your dog! The whole hotel is surrounded by all parking lot and on one side is a 1 foot across patch of green grass that runs between the parking lot and the road for a full block. Our dogs didn’t really go on the grass because it took too long to walk for my Cavaliers to get there. There was one potty pal overflowing with used poop bags and no extra ones for those moments you may have needed them. Still, we (husband and I) encountered poop on the sidewalk that wasn’t picked up by the dog owners. A pet peeve of mine. Other than that nice place!

  Good Service

  Room was solid. We stayed on the second floor which is the dog floor. We had our two dogs with us. Only complaint is finding an area for our dogs to go potty. On the side of building there is a small lot of grass. This is our 3rd time staying here (first time with our dogs), and it has always been good. Location is perfect as well.

  nice and clean

  We had a great room overlooking the ocean. The room is nice and clean and had no lingering odor is from pirate patch. My black lab mix was very comfortable! The only thing that I would improve is the air-conditioning unit, which is a little dated. It would’ve been nice to be able to turn the fan on continuously to block out the noises outside, but other than that it was absolutely wonderful!
