  Worked out well!

  While a bit dated, decor-wise, the room was clean, the bed comfortable, the breakfast decent, the location easy to get to, and close to a restaurant (Ziggy's) where we could easily order delicious dinner takeout- this suited us perfectly as we had been driving all day. We also liked that this was a motel, where we could park right outside our room. This made loading/ unloading the car much easier. As we arrived in a rainstorm, we didn't use the dog park, but there was still plenty of grass around for our dog's needs. He also enjoyed the dog biscuits at the front desk. A good value for the price.

  Great doggie spot!

  Great old fashioned motel with lots of green grass for the dog and a dog park. Clean and staff was welcoming. Breakfast was great and Myrtle appreciated the dog treats at the check-in desk in the lobby. We will be passing through in a month and have already booked here again!

  Good budget stay

  Was looking for a budget stay when traveling with my dog. This fit the bill well. Staff was very pleasant. Room, while dated, was clean and comfortable. Drive right up to your room door and park. Dog "facilities" were right out the front door and easy access.

  Perfect for pups

  As others have said great pet hotel. Pros: off leash area, other areas to walk dog, free dog cookies, free water, great hot breakfast, cheap dog fee $10. Outdoor pool (but I was there in the winter). Cons: rooms are very dated, but clean and comfy bed so it was fine. Recommend: Houlihans restaurant around the corner.

  This is a nice option for traveling with dogs. Easy to unload and lots of grassy spots for pups. Staff was super nice too. For the price, the room was what I expected. We would stay here again.

  My favorite kind of hotel

  You can drive up to the door of the rooms to unload your car. The rooms are cozy (with carpet). One story, so there's no one above you making noise. They also have cute little tables and chairs outside the rooms, so you can sit outside if you want. The property is fairly big, so you can take your dog for a small walk just walking around the property. We will definitely stay here if we are traveling this way again!

  Big green spaces

  Lots of safe walking areas away from traffic. The rooms are dated but comfortable enough for an overnight stop. Parking at the door front is another advantage. When traveling with pets, highly recommend.

  Great dog motel

  I love this place. They let me stay with my dog/s over the years. There are grass areas, reasonable pet fees, reasonable rates, and you can park in front of your door, which is really important for me loading and unloading with dogs. It's also neat and clean.

  The dog park is wonderful & being able to park your vehicle right at the door to your room (and not having to haul the dogs & luggage up to a room) is amazing!! It definitely smells strongly of cleaning solutions, but it's worth it.

  Dirty and smelly

  Rooms smelled like cleaner or cigarettes. Uncomfortable and seemed dirty. Had plenty of dog spaces outside, but the run down rooms means we won't return.

  Met all our expectations

  The pet-friendly room was clean and free of any odors. The floors were laminate and tile. I love this with or without pets. The motor lodge is dated but it met our needs and was very clean. Bring your own pillows. The ones provided are horrible! Our only complaint. Our room was directly across from the dog park which made it very convenient. Dog park is clean and well kept.

  Blast of the past in a good way

  this is an old style motor lodge. you park in front of your room! The rooms have been updated. Mini frig and microwave in mine. There is a large area of green common area with big trees, swings, and poop bag dispensers. There is also a fenced dog area. Also is a human swimming pool and old style playground … with real metal slides. The breakfast is good and there is a cafe next door that serves great food and will do take out . It was super nice to swing and watch everyone play in the green area…..not a fancy high rise hotel but nostalgic and perfect for me and my dogs

  Beautiful property

  Very dog friendly. Lots of grassy area including a little off leash fenced area. Also since it's a motel - no elevators. It's old but clean and the property - especially at night - is beautiful with all of the lights. Area has lots of food; Culvers across the street gave our dog a pup cup!

  Great for a night

  We were traveling across the country and needed a hotel for a night in Missouri. Room was spacious, nice amenities with soaps etc. Didn’t have the breakfast since we left too early, but there is a fantastic coffee shop nearby (Echelon Coffee) that opens early. Even a filled in swimming pool converted to a dog area. Definitely a large step up from the Motel 6 type places. Only thing we’d mark down was the room wasn’t the best smelling, but it wasn’t too bad. Definitely worth it for an overnight stop.

  Great location just off the highway and very pet friendly. The dog-friendly room had screen door that opened up to a grassy area and right near a very large fenced-in area for dogs. Tons of restaurants in the area.

  We got a comfortable and spacious corner room. There is a grassy area right out front. The staff was kind; they have dog treats in the lobby! I’d stay here again.

  The hotels were very pet friendly and very convenient for us and our dog. Celeste on the BringFido team is 5 star customer service provider. The world needs a lot more people just like her.

  Great for dogs

  The hotel was adequate for humans, but great for dogs. They have a large green area in the courtyard where you can relieve your dog. They also have a fenced “dog park” that they created by filling in one of the two pools and planting grass. Our dog enjoyed some off leash time after a long day in the car. The room is tired with lots of carpet stains and the wall molding was coming off in a few places. But the were beds firm and comfortable. We’d come back. Four bones for the dog spaces.

  Great place for dogs (and people)!

  The hotel is on about 7 acres, with lots of well-lit green spaces for walking. They even turned their old, outdoor swimming pool area into an off-leash dog park. For the humans, this is a quaint motel with lots of recent updates, while retaining the classic motel atmosphere. The staff was great and breakfast was good. The price was great, too. I definitely would stay there again.

  Your parking space was right outside your hotel room, which is a plus for me. Pet walk area was just -across the parking lot and lots of room to walk. Rooms were clean. People friendly and nice breakfast.

  Stayed for one night with 2 dogs. Motel style with parking outside of your room. Easy for taking dogs out in middle of the night. Clean room. Nice selection of foods for breakfast. Friendly staff. We will stay again if driving through Springfield.

  Good for pets!

  I like that the rooms are a stand-alone. Park the car by the door and it’s easily accessed. It helps with kids and pets in tow. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I wish the rooms are more spacious especially since pets are also in it. But, it’s not a deal-breaker for us. The large grassy area is a great addition. There’s dog treats and complimentary water at the main office too. Breakfast bar had the basic stuff. Overall, a decent place to stay.

  Nice features

  I usually avoid motels with outdoor entrances (rather than indoor corridors), but it surely was nice at this Best Western! So easy to haul the dog's bedding and food, along with all our stuff, from just a few steps away. The place is showing its age, but it was clean and comfortable. There is a large grassy area on the grounds, with waste bags and container. The included breakfast was okay. Nice staff.

  Nice hotel with a few minor problems

  Decent breakfast, would have liked English muffins. Easy access to room from parking space. Could have had another light in room. Like most hotels, didn't have a parking spot for car pulling a trailer which we have. Had to park way away from room.

  Excellent Customer Service - Dog Friendlly

  We traveled to the North American Dock Diving National Showcase with our 3 goldens who were competing in this event. Never before have we received such fantastic customer service. Everyone was friendly and helpful and made us feel like part of the family. The hotel was full of competitors and dogs and we didnt hear alot of dogs barking. Their little dog park was nice and there was ample space for your dog to relieve itself. We would definitely go back again. The room was clean and breakfast good. However, we wished there was more variety in the hot items

  Great outdoor spaces

  Loved that they had a lot of great outdoor spaces for the pups. The rooms were comfortable but could have used a little extra cleaning; the blinds and curtains were pretty dirty and the nightstand needed a good wipe down but the rest of the room was well cleaned and smelled nice. Overall, great experience.

  I’ve stayed at this hotel several times before, but this is my first time to bring my dog. The reservation and registration processes were simple and we had a great stay! This is always a great location in Springfield - close to lots of restaurants and a quick stop off the highway. It’s consistently clean and offers a good breakfast. We’ll definitely be back!

  Quirky and great location

  Tucked away among strip/shopping/hotel environs, this little hideaway was a very pleasant surprise. The room was in great condition, clean and quiet, with echos of old Route 66 or 30. Pleasant dog lawn area, a little playground and a little pool that added to the quaint atmosphere. Staff were professional, friendly and informative.

  could have been nice

  The staff was helpful the the night was a disaster. Arrived about 9pm and could not park by our room as there was a “party” of about 50 people (none wearing masks, many smoking) gathered in front of our room. The staff got them to disperse (because during covid who wants to walk through a party?) then on the other side of our room 3 young dirt bike guys were having a party and smoking and sitting outside. There were a few ants in the room but it was fine. One of the parties continued and at 1:40 am a full blown argument took place- something regarding the ozarks... we had to call down to the desk and by 2:30
  somebody left but overall not worth $100+. A sleepless night for all.

  good overnight stop on our cross country trip

  Highs were nice grassy area for our pets, basic but ample breakfast, easy check in, dog biscuits and candy for pets and pet owners, good food choices around and ease with all rooms in a true motor inn style and all rooms on one floor I took one bone off as the properly seems a little dated and many other options are nearby. I would stay again!!!

  Great place to stop while traveling

  We were moving 2500 miles across country and this was a great place to stop for the night with our anxious German Shepherd. Big grass area and parking in front of the room for easy unloading and loading.

  Does the job for a night’s rest. Basic motel room on a busy commercial strip. Bonus: there is a nice grass area with a small playground and a supply of poop bags. There’s a diner right next door, for handy meal source.

  Favorite Place In MONTH of Travel!

  Pretty. Fresh. Clean. Outside entrance. Wonderful place to walk dogs right in middle. A GEM! Highly recommend. Good price. We have been on the road a month and this was our favorite find. Wish all places were as pet (and people) perfect!

  Great Retro feel

  Not sure if we came during a quiet time of year but our stay was very pleasant. Clean, quiet room. Breakfast was an added perk. The only thing negative was the inconsiderate dog owners who do not clean up after their pets. Come on people, BW could not make it easier! Poop recepticle and bags within feet of your dogs poop!!

  Heck no.

  Like the other reviewer noted, the hotel looks clean and there is a small grass island for the dogs to relieve themselves. So this place is clean shelter for dogs and people, so it has that going for it.

  Otherwise, the previous rater warned that the walls are paper-thin. I can hear every word that the mother-daughter neighbors next door are saying. It is 2 am and they have been arguing about driving. Still, it is good to know that their dog, Eloise, is a GOood Giiiiiiirl!

  Good for dogs, people...less so

  This is a good little motel. The dog area in the middle is great - lots of room and easy to get to from all rooms. The rooms were dated, but fine. Biggest issue was that the walls are thin, so since they stuck all the dogs in the same area, one bark turned into a chorus rather quickly. We also had some cockroaches in the room (which was gross) and the staff didn't seem to care. Overall, a fine place to stay with a pet if you are fine with the slight human discomfort.

  Great Pet Area!

  We are traveling cross country with our two smallish dogs, so finding a pet friendly hotel with great outdoor space for our dogs is a wonderful bonus. This is such a place! Rooms were clean & updated, and the outdoor doggie area was great! After a long day in the car, the best thing for our pets is to find enough grass space to walk, sniff & do their business! And yes, we do pick up after our dogs! We all loved it!
  We highly recommend this as a 5 bone pet accommodating hotel & will definitely stay there again!
