The plantation-style Residence Inn by Marriott Chapel Hill is located on a 13-acre wooded site off I-40 and US Hwy 15/501, seven miles west of Duke University, and approximately 17 miles west of Raleigh-Durham International Airport. UNC Chapel Hill is four miles south of the hotel. Hotel amenities include the movie theater, outdoor pool, whirlpool, evening Managers reception (Monday through Thursday), and daily hot breakfast buffet at the Gatehouse. The hotel also offers a meeting room, free parking, and 24-hour front desk service. Lots of green space to walk dogs.

it is an overall pleasant stay with your furry friend but at almost $300 per night for the suite, you would expect more. We booked a two queen bed suite but ended up with a king and sofa bed. The sofa bed is very uncomfortable with not so clean mattress. The breakfast is very simple. The bathroom is not very sharp but overall the suite is functional. We have to air our room first since there were some odors in the room. The AC is very loud!! The staff are very friendly and the ground is very good to walk your dog. There were quite a few families there with their pets.

Our dogs were welcomed and we were given a room that made grassy areas easy to get too. It seemed like most of the guests had dogs with them. Very dog friendly.

Has plenty of green area for dog walks. We stayed three days with 2 dogs and it was only $100 extra for dogs. It's just a very quiet comfortable place.

Dog friendly, easy check in, friendly staff and a simple route to hospital. Neighborhoods to walk vegetation to sniff. Breakfast a plus.
