We loved having ocean front access at Ocean Isle Beach. My dog loved frolicking on the beach even after the allowed hours as long as there were fewer people on the beach. She did not like the trek up to the second floor room with 5 flights of stairs. The room was lovely with modern conveniences except the frig looked tired as did some of the paint jobs. We had an oceanfront king suite with a comfortable bed and a large air conditioning unit that did the job. The downside was the very large-huge creepy crawler bug that crossed the floor. No I don't think it was a roach but rather a huge spider. No worries, we were in the south? Amelia’s is the place to eat and the park had free entertainment on Fridays.

The non ocean view room was very large and spacious. I liked that the beds underneath are so that your pet can’t crawl underneath, yet my cat still found a way to squeeze behind the bed. The walls however are paper thin. We could hear the couple and their two dogs next door every single day/night, very loud and uncomfortable. I didn’t get much sleep because of the people next door. The gym/fitness room is more of a storage room. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were awesome. I also enjoyed the free breakfast although it’s nothing hot other than waffles, still nice to have a free breakfast.
We were checking out the day of a bad ice storm, and we were able to stay past check out time to wait for the bridge to open which was nice that they made that accommodation for us, as well as keeping us updated. I would definitely come back, but get an ocean view next time and hopefully a room away from other guests so it’s actually quiet. 4/5 bones for the paper thin walls and “fitness” room.

Large rooms at a reasonable price. This will definitely be our go-to when we travel to Ocean Isle Beach. The staff were friendly, our room was exceptionally clean, and plenty of parking. We really enjoyed our stay!

Enjoyed our stay. Stairs kept us from rating five stars, we have a small dog and got a workout carrying her up and down for the three days.

Clean rooms, great for dogs.
The only thing that may be a problem for others is the stairs.
Everything else was great. We plan to go back next year.
