Was disappointed with this Embassy Suites. The hotel is in remodel mode only one elevator and it was dirty.

Hotel renovating common areas but it didn't affect our stay! Door dash delivery. Stay on 9th fl but my small baby uses a pee pad if needed. Safe, secure. You will hear fire trucks from fire station but didn't bother us. COVID-19 sanitized & felt very clean. Great bedding too.

I gave this one bone because the only good thing was location. Our stay was less than enjoyable here and we ended up checking out a night earlier than we wanted to. The first night we arrived there were signs on EVERY door stating to please use the main entrance. However, the “main entrance” isn’t marked. I ended up walking around the entire building by myself at midnight just to find the right door. I checked in and asked about the parking here. Was told it was free on weekends to park anywhere around the building at meters until Monday morning at 8 am, or we could park in the attached parking garage for a few. Sounded good until a homeless man was at our vehicle when I came back out from checking in. We decided to park in the garage instead. Another bad decision considering if you want to go from the parking garage directly into the hotel, those doors are locked too! You are forced to go to the bottom floor and walk outside between the garage and hotel. Once in the room I set in to getting everyone ready for bed. We were going to be waking up super early to hit the trails and I wanted nothing more than to get some sleep after our long drive. However, there were no linens for the sofa bed, it had crumbs all over the mattress, and candy wrappers underneath it. The toilet wouldn’t stop running and upon trying to figure out why saw the flapper was stuck in the up position. So, in order to use the toilet without it running constantly you had to remove the back every time it was flushed and push the flapper back down. The sink in the bathroom also wouldn’t drain. When it did decide to drain it would make a terrible sucking noise. Exhausted already, I made my way to the front desk to let them know about my room situation and take my trusty trail basset out for “last pee call”. I asked where their grassy spot was for pets and was told there wasn’t one as stated on their site and they were going to gather the linens for my room while I was out. They said they couldn’t do anything about the crumbs in the bed because they do not have housekeeping there at night. I then walked him outside and was immediately greeted by a homeless man right outside the only doors you can use to enter or exit the building. Frustrated already we sat out to wonder around and try to find some grass. After returning inside they had all my linens and pillows ready at the front desk and apologized they didn’t have a bag to put them in. That was fun trying to carry them to my room with my dog and push the elevators buttons and using the room key to get in my room. Never once did they even offer to help. Only asked if I would like something to drink. Like how was I supposed to carry this big bulky linens and pillows PLUS a drink? I returned to my room only hoping to sleep but quickly realized everyone was freezing. The heat was set on 70° So I decided to see what happened at 71°. We all were burning up! There was no happy medium. If I turned it down it was like it blew straight cold air and one degree warmer you roasted! This was an all night battle to be comfortable. Early the next morning at 0530 am we were leaving out of the lobby and I noticed a situation, again right in from of the only doors to exit! This time a man was on the inside and they were trying to get him to leave. The woman at the front desk was waving to get our attention to stop because she said he wasn’t in his right mind and didn’t want us to be hurt. That their security was trying to get him to leave. We eventually left and had a wonderful day spent out on the trail. That evening we reluctantly returned, and again, we were exhausted. Shower, food, and sleep were the only things on our minds. I ordered food while everyone was rotating in and out of the bathroom for showers when we started smelling a strong skunk weed smell! It filled the entire hotel! Again, taking my trusty trail basset out, I stopped by the front desk to tell them and they were well aware. This time there was police presence outside to investigate the smell. Turns out it was a party on the third floor. No one ever once tried to make our stay right. We ended up sleeping that night and leaving that very next morning. The whole hotel was filthy and I didn’t feel safe at all. Especially since we spent $15 a day to park, but we were still unable to enter the hotel from the parking garage. Overall, we don’t recommend and will not be staying here again.
