  Room smelled awful

  We arrived late on a Friday evening. The room smelled so bad - like a mixture of smoke and terrible pet smell. We had to leave and find a new place to stay. There was no way we could have stayed there. Not in that room anyway. The staff was polite and they acknowledged the problem. Offered to spray the room with deodorizer. But, since the hotel was full, they said they had no other rooms available. So, we stayed the one night, but left the following morning. We did get a refund on the second night at least. BringFido was very helpful with the refund as well.

  Too Expensive

  Broken curtain let the parking lot flood lights into the room all night. Air conditioner very noisy, but the air was unbreathable without it due to stale smoke, which I hadn't realized was allowed in hotel rooms. Refrigerator was also noisy and there was an intermittent clanging sound all night from an unknown source above the ceiling. I made the mistake of calling the front desk woman an hour before arriving to ask about 2 day old negative reviews which mentioned fleas, although I told her that her answer put my mind at ease. When we got there she was frighteningly unfriendly with barely veiled hostility.

  There is nowhere within walking distance to actually walk your dog, other than the grass around the parking lot, as the neighborhood is not nice, and the highway borders the other side of the hotel. I don't know when the hotel industry got the idea of synthetic (plastic based) sheets, but they are awful, although I know a lot of people use them nowadays.

  Personally, my husband and I both feel that plastic-based sheets are extremely unpleasant to sleep in. I do appreciate that we were able to have our dog with us, but the extra pet fee put the price way too high for that sort of room, especially since we don't eat commercial cereal or other low quality foods (they do have a station to make your own waffles, which made some people in the dining room happy.) The woman at the morning desk was very friendly.

  Awesome service

  I loved coming here with my puppy. He was welcomed with a treat. There were other dogs who he made friends with as we passed to our room. The only thing is that there is no actual trail or place to walk your dog other than the parking lot. My dog went everywhere I went but we walked the parking lot every morning for his morning routine. There is a pool and jacuzzi which were very clean but doggos not allowed. There was continental breakfast and it changed everyday it was awesome. It is located very conveniently next to plaza that have Walmart supermarket and other goodies you may need. We even went to a Petco to get him little boots for our snow hiking experience. Highly recommended!

  Great Location

  We were just stopping for 1 night and were traveling to a different area. The hotel was clean and the staff were welcoming. The hotel was easy to get to from the interstate.

  Nice place but...

  The people were very nice, it was that the room wasn't ready we had to wait almost 2 hrs. The other problem was the AC barley worked. Of course it was on a 96 degree day but still room was 80 degrees. Talk to front desk yada yada. Bottom line: The place is very nice. Treated Jake with care, decent grassy area for play. Pet-friendly rooms are ground floor 👍 2 queen beds, 1 for me and 1 for Jake.

  nice hotel but...

  loved this hotel! The dogs were all treated like royalty. But they have some kinks to work out. Their AC unit didn't work. Changed rooms & that one didn't work either. The dog smell in the rooms was strong even though they used air freshener. The breakfast was awful. But I would definitely stay here again.

  Very disappointed

  This Concord NH Comfort Inn is not my idea of pet friendly! We were attending a wedding and reception in Concord and this Comfort Inn claimed to be pet friendly!
  When I was attempting to book a room I was told that our dog was not allowed to be left alone in the room at all! We couldn’t take him to the wedding and reception so I decided this is NOT a pet friendly hotel.

  This issue I should note seems to be particular to that Comfort Inn location!
  We rented a room at the “Pet Friendly” comfort inn in Niagara Falls NY last August and they actually were “Pet Friendly!

  Loved This Hotel

  The room was large, clean, super comfortable. Our wheaten Terrier got her own bed!! Dog rooms are only on the first floor, right by the back door which made walking convenient. As the other reviewer said, you can’t leave the dog in the room, but that has been my experience at other hotels. We ordered in pizza, Katie loved it. The desk staff gave us coupons. Breakfast was great, we left the dog in the car while we ate. This was in April so it was cool. The pillows in this hotel were THE most comfortable, we ordered some when we got home. I definitely recommend this hotel.

  “Pet friendly”

  Our stay was fine. We spent two nights here and, given that it was over New Years, we got some reasonable sleep. The partners were not the reason for my low rating.
  Their pet policy was abysmal. While they say they are pet friendly, what they mean is that you can sleep in the room with your dog. Unlike most other pet friendly hotels, who ask you to let the front desk know if/when you leave the dog in the room, this hotel ‘s policy was that you MAY NOT LEAVE YOUR DOG IN THE ROOM UNSUPERVISED!!!
  This policy leaves me three options:
  1) leave my dog anyway and risk getting kicked out of the hotel
  2) leave my dog in the car (in winter with a GSD, no dig deal, but for others seriously problematic
  3) don’t eat during my stay in concord.

  Would not recommend if you are doing more than looking for a place to crash for the night.
