  not what we hoped for

  After reading several reviews and calling several properties we felt fairly confident that we had made the best choice booking the Westin. $150 per deposit, $35 cleaning fee. Not too expensive, nice property, pet bed, pet bowls, designated area for pets to relieve themselves, relatively inexpensive pet fee, etc. We booked two rooms, and were given one pet bed, two dirty bowls, found the pet area littered with feces and the floor that we stayed on had the same pee stains with a “caution floor wet” sign for all three days of our stay. Also, if you want to walk your dog, there is no where to do this unless you get in the car and drive somewhere else. The concierge was able to track down a pet sitter for us with a 4 hour minimum at a rate of $35 per hour. I will say that this particular Westin is a poor representation of other Westin’s we have stayed at in the past. Hope others have a better experience.

  Dogs are Family at the Westin

  $35 cost to bring your dog. Bring your own cage and dog bowls and you'll do better. They couldn't have accommodated our dogs any better. Two different stays so far, totaling 5 days. Bringing the dogs with us gave peace of mind and saved on dog walking. Casino was adequate, 24/7 gym and pool. Close to the strip and the Monorail stop at The LINQ. This is our new Vegas stop. Recommend.

  Aminities were not free.

  We stayed for two nights and on checking out we found out that we were charged for the amenities, which we did use, cost us other$20.00 per day. So the deal we got was not much of a deal. Also our dog was not welcomed on the monorail or the Linq. So for us the cost of staying next to the strip was not a good deal at all.

  Fantastic!

  People with dogs like to stay in nice hotels too! The Westin fit that bill perfectly! We have two dogs a 6lb Maltese and a 75 lb labradoodles that is so fluffy, he looks like he weighs 130lbs. The Westin was accommodating and allowed our oversized dog (they have a 50lb limit) with no hesitations. They also have a great doggie relief area just for dogs. Will stay again when traveling with pets!

  I stayed here with my 9 pound dog. The hotel is very pet friendly. Staff is also very friendly. The location is right in the middle of everything1 I will stay here again!

  Luxurious!

  Very comfortable! Hotel was friendly. Since we checked in at 12am, staff was very nice to extend our check out time to 3pm instead of 11am. My dogs enjoyed their stay!

  We had a great time. The food, gambling and pet accommodation were
  wonderful. I did not like the front desk clerks. I asked for a phone book and they could not locate for me. How bizarre.

  Terrific

  This being one of the few properties in Las Vegas that accept pets, we were extremely pleased with the service. It almost seemed that one of the job requirements was a love of pets....the staff were that great. Our Westie was thoroughly spoiled by one and all. Thanks Weston!!!!

  Awesome. Experience all of Vegas and have your best friend with you. Hotel staff was great, pets walking every where.
