Great service at their restaurant, 10% off dinner. Free hot breakfast. Room rug should be pulled out and just put linoleum down. Room was clean but needs refreshing.

We are on a road trip and stayed here one night along the way. A very clean room and bathroom, great air conditioning (it was HOT while we were there), very clean pool, good places to walk our dog, and what a nice surprise to be given vouchers for a wide menu for breakfast the next morning at the little restaurant next door. We personally never leave our pet in the room unattended. Dogs tend to be a little insecure in a foreign environment and bark if they are left alone.
My only issue with our stay here was that a couple down the hall from us went out that night and left their two dogs in the room. They barked until well after 11:30 at night. I mentioned this to the front desk the next morning, and she emphasized we absolutely should’ve called the front desk and let them know. They have phone numbers for all the guests and would’ve called and demanded that they returned to quiet their animals. I regret not having done that and really appreciate the management’s offer of assistance had we reported it.

I liked that the pet friendly room had an outside door, it made it easier to lug all our dog accessories in from the car. The room and the lobby had some deferred maintenance. The front desk staff was inexperienced and didn't seem to know the area well. The pet area is unfenced. It had a poop bag dispenser but not garbage can to throw them away. They give out coupons for a free breakfast but the restaurant was too busy. There was just 1 server for 15 tables.

Clean hotel with good beds. Good value, but nothing fancy. Friendly staff. Nice lawn with thick green grass

The check-in host was a hoot. Room was clean and large. Lots of dog poop from irresponsible owners. Keep this place dog friendly and pick up after your pets!

Staff was friendly enough, and the room was comfortable. Plenty of grassy landscaping around the hotel for dog-walking. The hotel provided a coupon for a free hot breakfast from the restaurant attached: a nice touch, and the omelette I selected was good. There are other restaurants and shopping very close by, though I didn't avail myself of them.

Room smelled like urine, bathroom wasn’t sanitized, and beds were not clean. Woke up with bite marks (either flea or bed bug bites). Wouldn’t even let my toddler barefoot on the carpet. Slept and left as fast as possible.

One especially good thing; this property charged the price they advertised. Some properties like to add additional pet fees. Gold Stars for being up front. The Clarion is priced for the service. Staff was very kind. The pool was outdoors and closed -- it was 100F outdoors, so it would have been nice. No breakfast, but a restaurant was attached. Everything worked properly and the room was reasonably quiet. Dogs seemed happy so we were happy.

Lots of space. Our room had a chair and ottoman which our dog slept on. I used the ice bucket for a water dish even though we had our own. Comfortable and quiet location plus grassy area for potty. Pleased to find a pet-friendly hotel in Ontario, OR on short notice.

This is a very basic hotel but it is clean and dog friendly. Tiny breakfast, a muffin and orange juice or coffee. Some dogs did bark a little so my dog sat at the door listening for a bit. I couldn’t really hear the barking unless I was in the hallway. Our room had a sliding door with a patio and easy access to grass which was nice for let int the dog out.

Well it's hard to give an actual rating under the Chinese virus situation. It is It is in a good location, very reasonably priced, good potty places.
Beds were a bit firm for me but hubby said they were good for him, needs a bit updating and the gal at the counter needs to remember it's okay to smile & if you don't like your job then move on to another.
