Even with a bit of renovation happening it was a very nice stay. The little wetlands area is great for bird and crabs sightings, there's a trail that goes behind it that's close and easy to access. Very easy to get to all the touristy spots without feeling like you're at a hotel. Will stay at again.

It's the closest, least expensive pet friendly hotel that's close to Charleston Veterinary Referral Center. The shower handle and bathtub spigots were almost falling off the wall. And it was almost impossible to turn the water completely off. One of the light bulbs was out and a few of the outlets didn't work. Has a cute dock and outdoor space overlooking a little river marsh, though.

I only stayed one night and this was my experience: I arrived about 6pm and staff was friendly and quick, informed me about breakfast. Went out with my friend and my dog. Room and grounds are fine, someone left a hat? So I am not really sure how clean it all was but seemed fine.
Was woken up at 1 am by loud drunk people in the room next door and my dog barking because they can’t figure out how to work the door?!. Noise travelled thru connecting door(?) and wall. They were not full so not sure why someone had to be next to me? Traveling alone with my dog so I had to call the non emergency number while they continued to drink and yell, and my dog barked. Police came and they calmed down but then I got to listen to their tv for the rest of the night. Also the heater/ac is the loudest thing I have ever heard! Don’t know how people can sleep.
The pictures on the site seem misleading as there are updates but little details are off and most of the pics seem like stock photos?! Try to find someplace else.
