Stayed at this hotel 1 night on way home from Florida. Room on 1st floor which was fine but hotel is very busy and side doors allow alot of guest traffic in and out. My dogs barked every time someone walked by.

The Comfort Suites at Myrtle Beach was filthy! Someone actually wrote “mold” using black market with an arrow pointing to a patch of mold on the floor that had never been cleaned from a previous stay. The bathroom had stains on the floor and it looks like a dog had tried to rip down the bathroom door from the inside. The pet area outside was filled with dog poop and a empty case of beer complete with empty cans surrounding the box. At least I think it was the pet area, when I asked staff, they had no idea where it was. The room had a pungent smell that I’m assuming was dog urine. Never again will I stay here. I will sleep in my Jeep for the night before I stay here again.

Our room had a door to an adjoining room. The occupants of adjoining room were very loud from 4 AM until they left at 9:30 AM...loud yells, singing and talking. We did not sleep from 4 AM. I spoke to the desk person the next morning who stated the occupants would be leaving that morning. Since we didn’t get the rest we expected I believe we should be compensated for another night at any other Comfort Inn. The room was clean & comfortable, the breakfast was good but rushed by the attendant who continually walked in and announced breakfast would be over soon ... not very pleasant or accommodating.
I would rate this hotel higher as it is well kept up but these experiences were not up to our expectations of welcoming and restful stay. - SteveSep 22, 2019Pet Friendly and Great Place to Stay
