  Clean and well maintained

  Experience was overall positive. Hotel didn't have a gym or a hot breakfast in the AM. Rooms were clean, felt safe. Good location.

  Great room, great price

  We had a first floor suite room. Nice floors, comfy bed, big bathroom, addition room with a sofa bed for our son. Our dog was happy there too. The room was clean, the linens were nice and clean. Easy access to the beach about 2 blocks away. Lots of beach walks. We were very happy with our room, the staff, and the area.

  Very noisy at all hours

  Hotel was very dingy and definitely could use a deep cleaning and remodel. The walls are very thin so you can hear everything from the rooms on each side and up and down the hallway. The room next to us was full of people as well as people in the hall on and off throughout the night laughing and talking. One man sat in the hall and watch tv on his phone until after 1:00 in the morning. This was our first and last stay at a Red Roof Inn.

  Causal Spot

  No frills, awesome spot for my pup! No trouble at all to bring your dog to a nice weekend trip to Myrtle Beach at this spot!

  Disappointment

  First, the beds were comfortable but the room floors had dirt stains on them. Also the shower curtains were dirty and the tub had hair on it. Will not return.

  No frills hotel close to beach, two short blocks. Waffle House and McDonalds within walking distance. Big area to walk your dog for a quick rest stop. Clean hotel, employees all friendly. Barc Parc, dog park, 1.2 miles, easy walk. One of the nicest dog parks I've seen. We all felt comfortable here.

  Nasty and Run Down

  This hotel literally took gross to a whole new level. First let me say that the person at the front desk was absolutely lovely and the best part of my stay. She was the only staff I ever saw and was completely overworked. The first room they put us in had water seeping up through the bathroom floor when ever you stepped on it. Couldn’t tell if it was toilet water or what. The second room they put us in had never been cleaned, and had dirty towels in the bath tub, full trash cans and dirty beds. The last room they put us in had some kind of bloody mucous on the shower curtain and stains on the towels. I won’t be staying at a Red Roof Inn ever again,

  Very nice

  Pretty pricey, but it is a tourist town. Friendly staff, clean, basic room. Maybe could have used more than one chair. Would stay there again.

  I was skeptical at first because Red Roof Inn in the New Jersey area are synonymous for police activity. This specific red roof Inn was very nice. The staff was unbelievably amazing Christine at the front desk was so accommodating and went above and beyond when I needed a fridge in the room. The room that I was in was very clean the bed was comfortable. This location is two blocks away from the ocean right in the neighborhood so it was an easy walk to the beach in the mornings. I’ll bring my own cleaning supplies when I go to hotels anyway but the room was clean. The elevators need some work but the staff is what makes this hotel I would come back. There were dogs everywhere I felt very comfortable with my dog. Lots of grassy areas nothing in closed but the beach two blocks away was the cherry on top.

  Pros: Great location and staff. Very close to the beach (7 minute walk) and staff was nice to my dog. Convenient parking. Pet relief area with grass and poop bags. Cons: dingy, needs an update, lots of noise in hallway at night as well as the smell of marijuana, uncomfortable beds.

  Not clean

  Staff was nice. Hotel itself was pretty nasty. Room was not clean at all. Clothes left in room from prior guest and dirty floors. Would definitely not stay here again.

  This would be no bones if that was available. This was definitely one of the worst hotel experiences with our without my dog I have every had. The place was run-down, and very dirty. There was dust and crumbs? all over the place. With COVID this is very scary. If they didn't wipe off the dust they could see what else did they not wipe down. The smell of Marijuana was strong in the halls. I definitely would not recommend!

  They almost got a 4 because of the guests!

  Bike week, drunk bikers were loud waking and scaring the dog every 2 hours from midnight to dawn, not all of them had dogs, one room had 12 Mexicans in it drinking beer sleeping on inflated mattresses. The STAFF however wen the extra mile on welcoming us and unlike the next hotel we are staying at, having a coin laundry was very nice. With the restrictions imposed for Covid19, no pool, smoking areas located in direct sunlight by busy exits meant for confrontations by grumpy hungover wanna be bikers. Stay away during bike week to be sure unless you and your dog are party animals.

  Great location to walk to the beach

  Very short 2 block walk to the beach. Room was clean. We had trouble with noise and people fighting in the hall all hours of the night and we were on the first floor. We talked to some others that come each year for their vacation to stay here and they said that the same thing happened to them. They said to get a room on the 2nd or 3rd floor and it should be much better. Other than that, no issues. A visit to the Barc Parc South is a must if you're here too! A short 5 minute drive and hands down probably the best dog park that I've ever been to. My Dalmatian had a blast running, playing AND swimming in the large access area. We will definitely stay here again. For the rates of the room, can't beat it. We stayed 3 nights, weekend of Memorial Day. My friend also brought her 85 lb pup with her!

  Great location for Marathon

  Situated right in the middle of the Marathon course, Fido was able to cheat me on from two walk to locations. Red Roof was very pet friendly, and welcome large breeds. Fido is a 90# labradoodle.

  This place seems to be very popular with dog owners, less than 3 miles to Mallard Lake Dog Park. Staff courteous. Only complaint with my room was kiddie height commode, and cramped bath. Everything else clean and functional.

  Good hotel

  Only prob I had was the person at check-in was not a dog person and thought they know more about dogs. Given I have only done animal/wildlife rescue for 15 years and my wife is a vet tech. I am sure someone who thinks all dogs are the same knows more... The hotel was ok... Just don't engage the people in conversation about dogs or animals... Don't get a room on the first floor or near entry or exits if you or any family member are light sleeper...

  Pippa Visits Myrtle Beach (again)

  We decided to give this place another chance. Off season on a weeknight made it affordable for a quick over night. As last time it could get noisy but our room was clean and comfortable. Staff was very welcoming to my girl

  Room was very clean. Great big yard to exercise the dog. Only drawback....don't get the room next to the ice machine! People started filling their coolers at 6:30 am.

  Room was very clean. Water available at all times of the day is a huge plus. Pet friendly rooms. Felt very safe! SLOW elevator. I got used to it; it is an older hotel afterall. I strongly suggest staying here.

  Nice room

  It was a nice room for the money and I was so glad to have a place my dog could stay with me! There was a laminate floor rather than carpet, so not so comfortable for my dog to lay down, He did find the carpet/rug next to the bed comfortable, and on the bed, but no other spot for him to relax as he doesn't like laying on the bare floor. The front desk was very nice when I checked in and seemed to be expecting us!

  Close to the dog friendly beach

  This hotel is few min walk from the beach. They have pet walking area with poop bags and trash can. There is elevator. Room was clean, bed comfortable. Breakfast was provided. We traveled with our Golden Retriever. Beach allows dogs from 5/1 to Labor Day only between 5pm to 10am.
