We travel often and we were headed to St. Augustine. We chose this property for our halfway stop and because it was listed as Wyndham Days Inn property. It is a very old outdated hotel. We could tell the cleaners did their best to clean but chipped paint, scratched walls, and an over the top smelly and stained carpeting emanating a strong odor would make cleaning a difficult task. Had we not been tired from traveling, we would have left.

Room was clean and had all essentials but definitely had dog smell. Front desk was very helpful and suggested a dog friendly place to get dinner.

Check-in was difficult, and when we were going into our room we were accosted by a drunk (?) woman from the next room. When I went to walk the dog there were signs of fire ants everywhere. Highway side of the building was very loud from trucks on 95 which was directly above an embankment beside the hotel. Got up and left at 4am. I wanted to choose 0 bones, but it wasn't an option.

I stayed here for one night. I was not happy. I got there 30 mins early but I told the lady at the front desk I'm ok with waiting. I knew I was early. She said I could check in a room right then for an extra $7. Sure why not it's only $7. She gave me the key and we got in the car and drove to the room. It was raining and it was just me with my 7 yr old son and our dog. Well the room was not ready. The door was open and they had just started cleaning it. I went back to the office to tell her and she apologized. Said the room was marked as clean. Ok that's fine I'll take a different room. Well 30 mins later she got us in a room. Not a big deal but I paid an extra $7 for earlier check in. Then the room smelled. There were stains all over the chair in the room. I'm so glad we had our own blankets and pillows so we didn't have to use any of the bedding. I would not stay here again.

Room needed a complete refurbish ceiling was badly water stained and almost every surface showed a lot of wear and tear. Dog friendly rooms are located on the side facing Highway 95 which had a constant flow of extremely noisy loud trucks. No one should be paying to try and sleep in these rooms. A sound barrier is required or the complete shut down of this sad and worn out motel. Would never stay here again.

Staff at front desk was exceptionally nice and helpful, but our room was in poor shape. Trim board off in places and I blocked a hole in wall, afraid a cat could get trapped in wall. It was overall tired and run down. Door didn’t seal tight and locks flimsy… I put chair under knob. Sheets looked clean and there was DirectTV.

The bed was clean and comfortable. The room reeked of smoke and the carpet was filthy. It stuck to our feet. I didn't want my dogs lying on it, let alone walk on it ourselves. The rat traps outside our door were a little disconcerting as well.

Dog friendly rooms, however think the non-smoking rooms were previously smoking rooms. Room was clean and bed was so comfy we felt well rested. Dog friendly place next door to eat within walking distance (Skynnrd’s) and plenty of grassy areas for your pups. 2nd time was have stayed here and no doubt will be back. Traffic can be heard in room from I-95 but we didn’t stop us from sleeping. Safe travels!

The room was clean, service was fine, there was a large grassy area to walk our three large dogs, bed was comfortable. Downside, extremely noisy due to I-95, deferred maintenance, hole in wall at baseboard, card key was finicky. We chose this motel since options are few for overnight lodging when traveling with three larger dogs.

Had some issues while traveling with the pups. Was referred to a place in Florence SC... STAY AWAY from that town. Kept driving to stay here. It's right next to the highway. HUGE pile of puke in the driveway that "Doesn't surprise me" according to the check-in lady at midnight... AC didn't work so it was pretty stuffy as well. Glad we only had to crash there a few hours...

We always stay at this hotel as we drive to Florida twice a year and we find it more than adequate for a travel stop with our dogs. Skynards across the parking lot from the hotel is a "cultural experience". The quesadillas are yummy.

The front desk employees were very friendly. The room, however, was outdated and the bed not comfortable. It was clean though, so it served its purpose as a place to get a little rest. The outside of the motel could use some cleaning. No issues with our two dogs being with us.
