I'm usually pretty forgiving of Red Roofs and have probably 100 stays with them. I understand that budget hotels can't remodel every year, so I'm most forgiving if the only issue is the dated room, but this location was a real let down. Staff was rude when I checked in. Acted like I was a bother and interrupting their evening and the two cell phone calls she got when checking me in. I had already booked the room but she couldn't find my reservation. When she did, she told me that room was not available. Then she gave me a different room (ADA) and charged me more for it.
Then I get in the room and it was only half cleaned, if that. The bed was made, but there was women's hair in the sheets. The bathroom had a used towel hanging on the towel bar. There was no soap in the bathroom. There was trash in the garbage can. There was no coffee, not that I would have trusted that the coffee maker was even remotely sanitary. The TV remote didn't work, nor did manually changing channels on the TV. On the plus side, the room was remodeled in at least the last couple of years. Red Roof is usually better than Motel 6 and the like, but apparently not this one.

room was clean. but the little things were off. the remote control only the volume and channel up and down buttons worked. there is a 'hole' under the tub that needs to be caulked. the AC was set at 64 (when i came in) and I'm sure never got the room to be as cool as 70. the bed was comfortable. it's worth a stay if you have a pet and the room is under 50 dollars.
