This might be the grossest place we’ve ever stayed. The people that run the counter are not friendly and it’s not a very safe area either.

this hotel is a hidden gem! The rooms have faux wood flooring , so none of that tacky hotel carpet. this helped to make the room smell and look clean! The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was spotless and the location perfect!

We have stayed here multiple times in the past 5 years and have always enjoyed it. However, this trip was disappointing. Despite booking 2 queen beds, we got 2 full beds. Our bathroom door did not latch and the air conditioner leaked. We never saw maid service. There was also a persistent police presence which did not make us feel safer there. We will not be returning.

Of course, my Miniature Schnauzer was well behaved, except for the fact that he would growl every time other guests in the motel would stomp on the 2nd floor, yell, curse or make other obnoxious sounds and bad language. It was not constant, but enough so that we would fall asleep, only to be woken by another round of similar behaviors and language.
My brother, his son, me and my dog left the motel about three hours after checking in. We had been up for about 14 hours driving from NC to TN, only to have to head back for the same amount of time.
The management was apprised of our complaint, but did not offer any response. In addition the outside of motel was littered with an old Red Roof sign and two (2) derelict vehicles in the parking lot near our room.
I would consider removing them from your recommendation list, or at least lowering the recommendation star approval a notch.

This place was terrible. No place to walk our dog. Trash everywhere. Steps crumbling. Never again, first & last stay at Red Roof Inn.
