  Friendly staff, great service!

  The staff at this La Quinta welcomed us and our dog. There was a jar of dog treats in the lobby and all of the staff petted and praised our very cute poodle mix. The room was comfortable and we even got a call from the manager after we moved to checking to make sure everything was OK. Even though I could hear some other dogs when I was in the hall, our room was quiet enough that our dog didn’t hear that barking.
  The pet area was a bit small but it sufficed and there were other areas to walk him. Overall a great place to stay. Kudos to all of the friendly and personable staff.

  Served its purpose

  Two night stay planned, only stayed one night due to weather. Everyone was helpful, friendly and kind. Also positive was an outside sitting area with table & a fire pit. On the negative side, the room was small and tight for 2 adults & a Labrador. It may be because 3 doors opened into the same space, we were always in each other’s way. The room was very dark, not enough lighting for us.

  Smokey is 2 yr old lab, well behaved. We loved this motel that we could include him. He loved breakfast.

  Fair for the price

  I was really just grateful we had somewhere to accommodate our dog. Staff was friendly and lobby and the rest of the hotel was clean and they had a great breakfast and tea and coffee in the lobby. However, our room smelled like a dirty dog probably due to the fact that there was mostly carpet in the room. We had to go purchase Febreeze fabric spray and air spray and that helped, but it didn’t feel clean enough to walk around bare footed and I will also have to give my dog a bath now due to him laying on the carpet, and now smelling like the carpet.

  Repeat visitors!

  We really enjoyed our stay! Upon arriving, the staff was very friendly and our Tasia dog found dog treats in a jar in the lobby. The room was very comfortable and clean. Our room was on the first floor so we had an additional door that opened to a small outdoor patio which attached to the pool area. Great location with paths close by to walk along the water's edge. We will definitely stay at this La Quinta Inn again! SECOND VISIT to this same hotel was just as wonderful as the first visit. We highly recommend!!

  Great stay

  This is an excellent dog friendly hotel. We were on the fifth floor, but no problem taking the elevator down to grassy area. The pet relief area is small but places to walk across the street. We did not hear other animals in the rooms. The furniture was a little dated but our room was large and clean. Every employee was very pleasant. We had a great stay.

  The location is good and convenient. We were in a dog friendly room. The whole floor smelled like dog. The room was clean, but definitely had a musty smell.

  Fantastic

  This hotel accommodated us when we were in an unfortunate situation. They had got us a room in 20 min. The staff was very friendly. The room was beautiful and had an entrance to a patio with a fire place and seating plus a quick access to the pool area. I would return to this hotel again.

  Good location lots to like

  This five story hotel has all the things you need. Location is fantastic with a grocery, has, many restaurants and even a show walking distance. Common areas of hotel and bathrooms and entry to the rooms seem updated. The rooms are probably due for a cosmetic update soon. Carpets a bit thin, sofa felt worn and bed a little firm. However, everything worked good from water pressure, good ac, fridge microwave, tv. Staff very helpful and friendly breakfast is adequate and there is a cozy outdoor area with a fireplace. Well worth a couple small compromises for incredible location. And of course they love dogs.

  Perfect All Around!

  We booked a King Suite for one night and took our two golden lab mixes along. They've stayed in a cabin before, but never a hotel so we didn't know what to expect. Let me first say, the website pictures of the room don't do the actual King Suite justice. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised to have not only the bedroom with the Jacuzzi tub, but also a separate bathroom with a tub, a separate vanity area, and a complete living room w/ a fireplace, a balcony, and a kitchenette. Extremely pet friendly -- allows big dogs, no pet fee. We were not disturbed by any barks throughout the night and our dogs slept just fine through the night.

  The location is in central Pigeon Forge right off of the parkway and adjacent to the Island Pigeon Forge. There is a buffet breakfast included which had cereal, juice, eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, muffins, and a waffle maker bar. There is a designated potty spot for the pups with near by trash can/poop bags. The area could have been made bigger, but it works for what you need it for. The rooms were impeccably clean. The only misleading thing is the pictures online show hardwood floors and our room definitely had carpet. No odors at all. We would definitely frequent this hotel, in fact, my husband couldn't believe how nice it was and asked why we had never stayed there before!

  Helpful staff, super clean, our room was exactly as requested (top floor away from the elevator so our pup didn’t have much to bark over). Excellent location with a river path for walking pets, and an easy convenient walk to Coffee Armory for Black Rifle Coffee! Winning all the way around!

  This was not the newest La Quinta, a bit shabby but it had the most enthusiastic employees. Good breakfast served with one very enthusiastic staff. Almost no one was wearing masks... and we were told it wasn’t mandatory. Each state we travelled (21 states) was different.

  Fantastic stay with the pup!

  We have stayed here multiple times and are never disappointed! The staff I'd super friendly, the rooms are nice and clean and of course...super pet friendly! The pool and hot tub are open 24/7 and there is a nice potty area with cleanup station to the side of the building. We also love this location because Brick and Spoom are right across the street for breakfast ( SO yummy) and they give 20% off if you show your room key. Did I mention they too are super pet friendly!? We bring Cooper over and eat out on the patio where they have water vowels and bring him treats. There is also a beautiful walkway that goes along the creek/river that starts just outside the hotel and leads you over to the Island where you can shop, eat and taste moonshine : ) The shops there are also pet friendly!

  This place was clean and dog friendly. They have a place on the side of the building to take your dog potty. But if your looking for breakfast they don’t have any buffet because of the COVID. If we were in the area again we would stay here again.

  Dogs and Bugs welcom

  Overall the hotel itself was okay. Great breakfast options. The only thing disappointing was the bugs in the rooms. The first one I went into their was a small bug on the pillow, so I asked to change rooms. Then the next morning I went to get in the shower and there was a bug on the shower curtain. I couldn't get out of there fast enough. Ended up sleeping on the couch in the room, because there was something on the sheets. If they did a little more cleaning and some pest management control it really wasn't a bad hotel.

  La Quinta in Pigeon Forge was a great place to stay, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was great everyday we will stay there again we highly recommend this place if you are traveling with a dog.👍

  Wonderful

  The whole experience was just wonderful! The staff were extremely friendly, the rooms were Thoroughly cleaned and pools were nice. I loved sitting in front of the lobby fireplace warming up on a chilly night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who has pets! I have a large dog and he loved it! He even had his own bed (when he wanted to use it) in our Double Queen room. It’s also within walking distance to several restaurants and shopping places.

  I thought this was a very nice hotel. Tim at the front desk was super friendly. They are pet friendly, just as they state which is really fantastic. The hotel room was clean and tidy. Could not ask for a nicer place.

  Terrific stay

  Staff was great with dogs. Location excellent near trail along river and parks where we could take dogs on long walks. Our room had a back door with outdoor seating and easy access to our car. Good restaurants nearby.

  Staff was super nice and were very friendly with our dog. The room was really clean. There were obvious signs that other dogs had stayed in the room however if you can over look that (since it IS a dog friendly hotel)- there was no smell at all. We usually rent a cabin so this time was a first for a hotel. I’d definitely stay here again if we need a dog friendly hotel.

  From the moment we walked in the door they were fantastic. They seemed thrilled to have us visiting! The dog walking area is perfectly located with bags and deposit. Not to mention the room was perfect for a few days stay! Will stay again!

  No other hotel in pigeon forge for us!!!!

  I was so pleased with the friendliness of the staff and their dog friendly hotel. Great breakfast (even though im a low carber) with eggs, hard bouled eggs, bacon, sausage, infused water 24/7 where coffee is(which really helped keep me from splurging on orange juice). Hotel wl room was clean, hard surface floor, comfy pillows and beds, patio area where you can eat with your pet, or watch the pool are(excellwnt for me as im able to watch my stepson swim and train with vera at the same time) the staff was always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Its within easy walking distance to the island which has dog friendly restairants, the river is a half block over and has a path to walk, and calhouns restaurant which is right around the corner is dog friendly on their outside patio. Within 2 miles there are multi restaurants that have outside area to eat with pet and ice cream shops that have outside seating and at least 1 no sugar added ice ream! Perfect location for convenience, great pool and hot tub, and clean room with great service, why go anywhere else if you have a pet? Im posting pictures below.
