- SamMay 11, 2021Doesn’t honor reservations and lies to soothe you over
We got to the hotel and there was not a pet friendly room on the ground floor reserved. The clerk went to check on two rooms and said they weren’t available. She then said that the only room available was on the 4th floor or I could take one on the ground floor with 2 twins instead of the Queen. She then leaned closer and whispered, “Due to the inconvenience, I won’t charge you the pet fee.” The day of check out, I noticed an additional charge on my CC. When I asked her about it she said it was the pet fee. I reminded her about what she had said and she stood there and told me, “That was just for you to check-in, we have to charge a pet fee.” Next time someone tells you they are going to wave a fee because they screwed up, make sure it is in writing!! I will NEVER return to this hotel.
