  We were coming in late, past the midnight check-in time but I called the hotel directly and had wonderful service. First floor room with easy access. Lived up to all the other great reviews. A welcome respite after a long day and drive, for humans and dogs. Will definitely stay here the next time we are driving through

  The only negative is people that don’t pick up their dogs waste from the dog area. Both big dog piles were about 12-14 inches away from the dog clean up bags. No fault of the hotel.

  Great location - easy on/off freeway. Staff were awesome! Our original room caused my wife to have an allergic reaction. I called front desk to inquire, by chance, was there a cat staying in room prior to our arrival and there had. They immediately moved us to another room, no questions asked. We had our dogs along - ample pet relief area and very clean. Provide doggie poop bags and guest were diligent or hotel staff cleaned as well. Impressive. Breakfast was very good. Numerous options and well stocked. Pool and hot tub were clean and very nice. I would not hesitate to stay here again. Great experience 🥰

  The room and bed was clean and comfortable. It also had vinyl plank floors, which is great when you have a dog. My only complaint is, they had speakers that broadcast music right outside my window until 10PM. I was tired from a long drive and went to bed early and that was very annoying.

  This La Quinta is in a location that is a bit difficult to maneuver around if you want to go out for dinner. You cannot leave your pets alone in the room without a crate. Given that, you have a very limited dining options - pizza or BBQ delivery or in-house frozen food for microwave prep. Close to highway on all sides an industrial area.

  The hotel’s pet friendly room is pretty clean (we’ve stayed at dirtier ones). Our room was on the second floor and near the elevator though, so lots of upstairs stomping sounds, tired children crying and our favorite: the old fashioned AC unit that kicked on and off throughout the night. They do have lots of outdoor (clean) space for us to walk our dog, and with lots of poop bag stations! Decent for a stop during a long road trip.

  Near the top of the scale for La Quinta Inns. My go-to when traveling with dogs. Newer hotel with grass courtyard for dogs. Easy access from freeway. Only negative is other than a gas station there's nothing within walking distance.

  There are multiple areas to walk your dog, all are stocked with dog bags! My favorite amenity was no carpet in the room! Every hotel should remove the carpet! You can see that you are walking in a well cleaned space! The entire facility was clean inside and out! I hope to find another dog-friendly La Quinta on my cross country trip!

  The La Quinta by Wyndham was a great place to stay with our dogs. Looks like it was recently refurbished, had lots of outside doggie potty spots and best of all had lovely clean engineered wood floors instead of the usually brown yucky (how many hidden pet stains?) carpets most dog friendly rooms have. Jus wish all pet friendly hotels were as nice. Also, we needed to stay past the 11am checkout time and asked for 12 noon and they said, “How about 1pm?” Priceless! :)

  I would definitely stay here again! All staff that I talked to were very friendly and helpful. We were at the end of a wing with our own entry and grass nearby for our dog. The room was large, clean and modern - very nice. They also had a very nice breakfast. I will stay here again next time I am in St. George Utah!

  This is the only hotel I have even dared stay at with my pup! They have a new pet policy including a $25 fee but it was only a matter of time since most places charge a pet fee. But, it feels clean, I love the breakfast, and my dog does well here! And, I am so grateful for BringFido. This was a last minute reservation and I got the room for $50 less than I was quoted over the phone. Yay! Thank you!!

  The room was really clean and everything seemed new. The staff was friendly, helpful and kind. There was a nice block to walk around and a nearby hiking trail, too. The views were amazing because this property is right up against a foothills top beautiful rock formation. I have never stayed at a La Quinta before but I will stay there again, for sure!

  Lots of grass for the pets, and room was clean and very comfortable. Amazing spot and would stay here again. Note: not a-lot if restaurants nearby but did Door Dash which worked great! Wanted to make sure we respected not leaving pets in the room and this was a great option after a long day on the road. Thank you to the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice.

  Nice hotel!!

  We had been driving for 9 hours enroute home. It had been fraught with our vehicles mechanical issues - towing a heavy trailer - temperatures over 95 the entire time - not a lot of places to stop and eat or feel relaxed - traffic due to road work and the added stress on top of that. We made a last moment booking online with La Quinta in ST George, Utah and they were hospitable and welcoming from the very moment we arrived.

  They welcomed our big fur child, didn’t even bat an eye about where we could park our truck and trailer and the room they helped to coordinate us close by on the ground floor. The room was HUGE! I guess it was more of a suite, but had plenty of room to stretch out. A comfy bed, lots of pillows, a couple of TVs. Hotel was quiet, relaxing and just what we needed to regroup.

  The gas station was in walking distance with a quick mart kind of store which was perfect for picking up the automotive items we needed to get going the next morning. A National fast food burger restaurant was also there. It couldn’t have been more perfect and I thank them for their hospitality! And BringFido has made this so easy to book!

  We overnighted at this new La Quinta, and had a wonderful stay. We appreciated the grassy dog space, which was kind to our pup’s feet since it was 108°, so pavements and stones were HOT. Our room was spacious, and the staff was very attentive.

  We have been driving through St. George for a number of years and staying at various hotels that take dogs. This La Quinta we booked through BringFido is the nicest by far of the bunch! They have lots of grassy areas, and all of them are set up with poop bag dispensers and convenient places to dispose of them. Definitely a step up from the artificial turf and crushed gravel found at other places we’ve stayed!

  Great Dog Friendly Hotel

  Plenty of grass, shrubs, trees right out the side door for our dog to sniff and relieve himself. Dog stations provided. No carpet in room which makes for a more hygienic experience. Best breakfast in the hotels we stayed in on this trip. An elderly gentleman who was monitoring the breakfast area even offered to hold our dog's leash while I went in to get some breakfast items. Highly recommend!

  Another GREAT stay at a La Quinta!

  This was a BRAND NEW La Quinta. Very clean, fresh, spacious, friendly, and a great breakfast. The room was amazing, so many great touches - the lighting, the paintings, the bathroom features. I, as a human, enjoyed the stay. There is not much green space, but it is the desert. So, relatively it has A LOT of green space compared to the land around it, but not a lot for a golden retriever to run around. But we made do. I was still very impressed and happy with our stay. Highly recommend.

  The front desk was so friendly and helpful. The dog area was a good size grass area with setup waste station. We’re newly traveling with our furries (3 of them! 1 lg, 2 small) Our big guy is being nervous and the front desk gal was so helpful in getting us a room nearest to the doors with less walking to the outside. Our stay was top notch!

  Convenient location, lovely stay

  We booked this hotel for our outbound trip via BringFido. We were so pleasantly surprised that we decided to stay again on our return trip. Spacious, clean suites with a much more elegant feel than many in it's class. Loved the outdoor pool and patio. And it was clearly a favorite with pet parents as nearly all guests had a canine companion. Would stay again with or without our dog!

  Under construction

  I hadn’t realized that the hotel is completely under construction. The check-in staff was very nice and said they had assigned us a quiet room as requested. It was pretty shocking to walk to the room on paint splattered carpet past peeling walls. It really is like walking through a construction zone. Unfortunately our room next to the stairwell was not as quiet as hoped and there was also noise from upstairs. The room itself was mostly completely renovated aside from the wifi hanging loose out of the wall. The pool was nice and breakfast was good. I think this would be a good place to stay when the construction is complete, but we had a pretty bad night from our dog reacting to the noise.

  Hotel was under major construction/renovation. We were not told of this when we booked. I am furious. We came to St George for my daughter to take an important exam at the professional ex center. We came early so she would have a day to relax and study. There was loud banging on the walls as the ripped wooden trim out as well as the floor moulding, construction debris throughout the hallway, the lobby was all torn up, fumes from paint and whatever else they were doing made me nauseous. With debris and ladders everywhere in our hallway, it was dangerous to get in and out of our room. Such a shame it was such an AWFUL experience. They should not have been putting people in rooms along that hallway.

  Only Adequate

  Did not get the Deluxe room as described by the BringFido phone representative. The hotel check-in clerk clerk argued, “I don’t know why the told you that.” In fact there are standard and Deluxe/larger rooms, and the Deluxe was not provided to us despite it being clearly described in the reservation confirmation. Although the online documentation reads “Okay to leave crated pets alone in the room,” the hotel makes you sign a statement contrary to that upon checking in.

  Just stayed there one night passing through and it was more than adequate for that purpose. We were tired from a long drive and would have liked to find a nice restaurant but, other than chains, nothing is close. If you want access to town, stay further north. Still, the room was quite large and dog friendly. There is a nice little spot out back to walk the dog on a leash. The do have a complimentary full breakfast bar from 6:00 to 9:00 a.m.

  Very friendly and helpful staff. The room was very nicely updated - everything worked well, no leaks. Quiet neighborhood and the hotel was really pretty quiet considering how many dogs were there. Beds were comfy. TV had lots of channels. Breakfast was in a spacious room and had eggs, bacon, biscuits & gravy, hot & cold cereal, yogurt, fruit, bread & bakery items, juices, coffee. It was good.

  Plenty of space for taking the dog out - multiple areas. No large areas for running the dog, but dog parks were nearby. Well stocked on poop-bags in each area (I wish people would clean up after their dogs!!! That's really annoying - especially when the hotel provides free bags and garbage bins in each area!)

  I would have given five bones if the pool and hot tub would have been open. They were being repaired - which I guess is what happens during off-peak times. All in all, it was a very good experience at a reasonable price (with no extra charge for the dog!!!)

  There were a few things that stopped me giving this hotel 5 bones. Noise from the freeway was disturbing as was a noisy fridge. I appreciated having a microwave in the room but it was loud and seriously underpowered. I would probably stay here again but it is not my first choice of pet friendly hotels in St George.

  Good to ok hotel for a couple and 2 dogs. We had room 128 one night a suite and it was awesome. Easy to take the dogs to the little doggie area, great pergo floor, comfy bed. Our 2 Night stay about a week later was not as great. Our request for the same was room ignored. A Room not ready on arrival after 3:30 pm and we were put on the 3rd floor which was not nearly as good for the dogs. Difficult to go so far down the hall to an elevator during covid. Breakfast was not as good as other La Quintas we stayed at. 2 mornings in a row no trays available. Coffee ran out. Cereal selection very sparse. Only hazelnut creamer when they finally had coffee. Room had housekeeping services but no coffee or cups were given to us. How can one hotel go from awesome to not so great in a little over a week.

  Best dog friendly place we have ever stayed at

  This place was perfect for us and our 11 month old lab! Most dog friendly rooms on on ground floor with several enter and exit points without having to take your dog through the lobby. The room was very large and our 80 lb puppy had plenty of room to play and relax. Best of all lots of grass for pups to do their business and it was right next to an awesome walking trail to the river and a park! We were so happy with this place we extended our stay and made it our “ base camp” to do several day trips!

  This was our first road trip with our two dogs (golden retriever and German Shepard). We were nervous about their comfort and the cleanliness of the "dog friendly" hotel room. Out of the string of five hotels we stayed in during this trip, this was the only room without carpet (which we preferred). It was CLEAN with no doggie smell, unlike some other hotels we stayed in with scrubbed, urine stained, smelly carpets.
  Our only inconvenience was that a maintenance person worked outside the room in the hall for quite a while in the middle of the night, causing us to sshhhh the dogs to avoid barking. All in all, it was a positive experience and I would recommend this hotel to other responsible pet owners.

  We stay at this La Quinta a couple times each year as we travel to see family. It is very clean, has really nice pet relief areas & no carpet in the rooms (which I love as I know this is the only way the floors can really be clean). The hotel is older but it is clear they are updating it nicely over time. The rooms are very large. I greatly appreciate that they allow cats & dogs (we travel with both) and I love that they do not charge an additional pet fee!

  Great pet friendly hotel… except

  This hotel has courteous staff, it’s clean and has appropriate amenities for you to take care of your pet. The rooms are spacious and easily accommodated our two dog kennels. We would have given it 5 stars, but the beds were very lumpy and soft, creating a forced “roll to the middle”. We also would have liked more convenient access to restaurants, but this location wasn’t good for that. Food delivery service was fast and courteous.

  Nice Hotel

  The pet friendly room was nice and clean with hardwood floors. They had dog clean-up stations all around the perimeter of the hotel with nice sections of grass as well as benches for people to sit at. Hotel staff seemed nice and I didn’t have any issues

  Staff member was super friendly, room was clean and well suited for dogs. Very convenient location and easy to get to. Will definitely stay again on our way back home from this trip.

  St George Stay

  We needed a quick place to stop over night on a road trip from California to Idaho. This hotel is beautiful! I’m so happy it’s dog friendly, there was no extra charge for my pet, and it was extremely clean. Grass areas outside all over the perimeter for dogs to use. Will absolutely be staying here again!

  Everything was perfect

  The hotel was clean and comfy. At least half of the people staying there had a pup.
  The rooms are big enough and nicely furnished. Breakfast is included.

  Great Stay!

  We spent 1 night on our road trip to SoCal with our 9 mo. old puppy. We stayed in a king executive suite at end of the 1st floor hallway.

  My service dog, Miles and I, stayed here on the way to Denver and on the way back. The room during both stays was very comfortable, clean and both had a nice view of the rock bluff behind the hotel and not the highway on the other side of the property. The staff was very accommodating. It may have been better for my access needs if it were on the first floor, but the second floor worked out fine. There were plenty of options for Miles to walk and take care of his business.
  Miles, my furry partner, gave 2 paws up and said that it was a very comfortable room for him. We will stay again.

  We stayed in a king suite and I was really impressed with the quality of the accommodations. I've been a Hilton Diamond Member for years and hadn't stayed at a La Quinta before. I will definitely be back!

  Perfect pup hotel

  We stayed at La Quinta Inn & Suites St. George heading to Colorado and on our way back because it's a solid, clean hotel at a reasonable price. We love that there's no additional pet fee and will definitely be staying there again if we stop through St. George.

  We loved our stay at La Quinta! We loved that our pet room was on the first floor, and that it hard hardwood floors. Everything was exceptionally clean and they even provided puppy pads (if needed). We will definitely stay here again!

  Big rooms for big dogs

  We stayed here on our trips to and from Colorado. We wouldn’t have stayed twice if it wasn’t good. The rooms are big with a couch area and a bed area in the king bed rooms. We have 2 110lb King Shepherds and there was plenty of space for everyone. There’s a fair amount of grassy area and an empty sidewalk to walk around the block around the hotel and other businesses in the area. Lots of dogs at the hotel. Every room can be a dog room but the first floor rooms have non-carpet floors. The only thing that needs to change is the fact that they still use styrofoam cups and plates at breakfast.

  This hotel was perfect! It was clean, there was plenty of grass for the pups to use, the staff was nice and it was near a highway for easy access. We would definitely stay here again.

  Great location right off the freeway and close to gas and variety of restaurants. Wonderful hotel for people traveling with larger dogs. Multiple lawn areas and employees are very accepting of dogs.

  Wonderful!

  Such a good hotel to bring your pet to. They set us up in a huge room with wood floors so my dogs had plenty of room to play or roam around and there was less anxiety about a bathroom accident happening. Beds, breakfast, and staff were all nice. There are plenty of grass areas surrounding the hotel to walk your dog. Definitely stay here if you're planning on coming to St George with your pet.

  On a cross country trip staying at a dozen motels with two dogs, this facility was the best of them all. I would fault only the relatively small (but completely adequate) dog exercise area.

  Very Nice And Super Dog Friendly

  We loved that the dog friendly room on the first floor had wood floors and they gave an extra sheet to place on the furniture under the dog to keep things clean. The room was very clean and comfortable. There were nice grassy areas to walk the dog around. We would stay here again.

  Great Dog Friendly Hotel

  We recently stayed at La Quinta St. George with our pup and really enjoyed the hotel. The room was spacious, with lots of room for all of us to spread out. They provided us with extra blankets so Lucky could relax on either the bed or sofa, as well as pee pads, in case they were needed. They had lots of well-lit, grassy areas for walks and sniffs. Breakfast for the humans was tasty, and they allowed us to sit in the big lobby with Lucky so we didn’t have to keep him in the room. Overall, a definite recommend!!
