More than one year ago.great stay! More than one year ago.great stay!
It was my first road trip with my new dog, so I was really nervous! Everyone was nice and the room was great, price was reasonable, breakfast was good. They even had a bag with a toy and treats for the pooch at check in! So cute! I'm very thankful for a great first hotel experience. :-)

Place was well kept and employees very nice. We really appreciated the Comfort Inn shuttle to and from the rail system into Washington DC. We also liked the breakfast which was considerably better than the last place, a dumpy Quality Inn in Mt. Vernon, VA. That was a terrible place.

The staff was great! There is a lot of traffic and not a lot of green space on site but LBJ Park in the Spring time made up for it. Annie had no complaints and trust me she likes to complain! :)

This is a very basic Comfort Inn. It was clean and the room was big. It had a separate bedroom with a King and a sleeper sofa. It also had 2 bathrooms. We did have to ask for extra blankets and towels which we had to go down to the front desk for. The hotel front desk staff was nice but did not extend themselves in any way. There is also a shuttle to the Metro which is free but it is only an 8 seater so it took a little while to get there. The hotel is near the highway which is convenient. We ate at a great restaurant in Old Town called the Austin Grill. It had outdoor seating and we brought our dog. There was a small grass area at the side of the parking lot, near the road to walk the dog. There is parking surrounding the hotel so I was able to walk my dog around the entire hotel for a nice stretch. We also used the backyard pack as a doggie day care. They are about 12 minutes from the hotel, very nice and caring and quite reasonably priced.

I had booked another location but the pet policy turned out too pricey. I was traveling w/4dogs and this place made a nice exception on the cost for the dogs. The rooms are neat and clean, the employees friendly and there continental breakfast in the morning. The location has a restaurant that is good for fast food. Not much space for walking the dogs but we were in the city area. I would recommend and stay again.
