Residence Inn Potomac Mills welcomes two pets up to 100 lbs for an additional fee of $55 (for one night) and $110 (for stays of 2 or more nights). Rooms that allow pets are located on the first two floors. Both dogs and cats are accepted, but pets must be crated if left unattended in rooms. I often use the hotel on my trips from NY to FL. It's always clean and they only charge one pet fee. The dog relief area is small but there is a shopping center next door with more room. As it is close to 95 there is a little road noise.

Overall it's not bad but come in late. You'll have nowhere to park. My dog had IVD surgery and that made it a bit harder to get her around. Plus not a lot of area for the dogs either. The people are good, rooms were also good. 5 bones if they had better parking and more area for the 🐕

Nice big suite with kitchen and small living room. The bedroom is in another small room in the back with its own door. Nice for leaving the pups alone during dinner where they can’t hear anything to bark at. Only reason I gave it a 4 is that they gave us a 2nd floor room and there was basically no parking spot for our U-Haul. We had to unhitch it and pray it was still there in the morning. It was 😊

I booked this hotel for one night through BringFido and was charged the initial fee. However, soon after I was charged for the same night again by the hotel and later charged a third night by the hotel. I reached out to BringFido and they were excellent in taking my information and understanding the problem. However, I have tried multiple times to get in contact with the hotel to correct the extra charges. The manager has refused to return my call. I will be reporting them to the BBB and filing a complaint.

We stayed for 5 days with my 40 lb dog. Both front entrance with elevator and back stairway to our 3rd floor room were very accessible from the parking lot. There is a large grassy area (under large power lines) for dog walking. The rooms had good sound proofing. Extensive breakfast buffet with many healthy choices
