Absolutely Horrible Experience

We checked in tonight and we have two mixed breed dogs (one is large and other is medium sized) and we booked through BringFido. There website and BringFido states that two pets (defined as cats and/or dogs) are allowed without any additional fee of any size. This is our third la Quinta inn and quotes we’ve stayed in across the United States on our trip and this is the first time we were asked to sign this waiver. My dogs barks sometimes (if a door slams she lets out one bark for example) and the management uses its “discretion” to charge this additional pet fee. The man at the front desk asked us to leave the lobby with our dogs and go straight to our room because “omg that’s a hell of a dog” was his verbatim. I am appalled and extremely uncomfortable based on this biased reaction to my dog. For a hotel that claims to be dog friendly, your front line customer service staff are rude and clearly not brand ambassadors of this company nor thief policies. This is not okay and I will be telling friends and family about this experience and after our reservation we will not be staying here because la Quinta inn and quotes clearly hires staff that are bias and discriminatory against us and our dogs. My dogs are therapy dogs as well and are well trained.
