  Not A good place for your pets

  had been taking my pet to West Kendall Animal hospital for about 3 years I remained a loyal customer to this Animal Hospital , mainly because when my dog had to have a hysteroctomy this office was the only animal hospital that offered a very reasonable price for the procedure during a time , that I was financially challenged , and my main goal was to save my dogs life , however having said this , for the years to come , most consultations for my dogs care came at a very high price , most ranged typically for 300.00 therefore I feel this office got there money back and then some for a procedure , that was charged at a reduced price . My dog continued to need care as she was getting older and is not a healthy dog overall , she suffers from skin allergies and most importantly , digestive issues , two or three times of the year she would experience bloody stool , on top of the ongoing skin allergies , which require monthly shots to keep her itching under control , during a digestive episode about 5 minutes to closing time , and me wanting to bring my dog in for treatment , which was already a part of ongoing issues this office was aware of , I was told by the Vet directly that answered the call , that he was alone already in the office without staff and I would have to bring my dog in the next day for service , which I could not understand , why a Vet would turn an emergency away , while it was still during a reasonable working hour , this obligated me to seek emergency services , that ended up costing me about the same price I would have been charged at their office for a typical routine visit , which leads me to believe they overcharge on their prices for service .
  The West Kendall office was more caring towards pets , as well as more helpful , in financial situations presented in the past , but after the office recieved a new make over , I guess the West Kendall Animal hospital needs to recover their expenses . The Vet is no longer sympathetic towards the customers , and clearing care nothing about the pets except the bill their staff makes you pay upon completion of what they call Service . for this reason , I have left this office and lucky for me found a Vet , that is both reasonable and caring in their aproach for any ongoing treatments my pet , my family's pets and my friends pet , as I have already referred their office many a time. I will voice this in all my social media posts as well as tweeter in an effort to stop others from making the mistake of taking there pets to this animal hospital .
