  Dangerous

  Very, very disturbed that my dog was badly injured on January 31, 2022. I was told that she was playing with a group of dogs (including the owner's dog), ran away from the dogs, and then multiple dogs chased and bit her. She required emergency surgery for eight wounds and now has eight sets of sutures and four drains. Although there are video cameras at the facility, I was told the incident is not visible because it was in a corner of the play yard. This makes no sense. If the dogs were running after my dog, they did not stay in a corner. If it really happened in the corner that's not visible, there was only room for one or two other dogs, possibly the owner's dog, as that name was mentioned. And this morning, as I write this, the video feed has been taken offline. I believe I was told Stella was bitten by multiple dogs to excuse the fact that there were so many bites before anyone came to Stella's rescue (eight in all). I believe this was a case of gross lack of supervision and negligence. And now my dog is very badly injured.

  Wish they were in our town

  Can't say enough good things about Green K9. We often put our Airedale in daycare when we are traveling and this one was by far the best. He loved it there so we were able to enjoy our trip without worry. The premises were bright and spotless. Every staff member we encountered was welcoming and friendly and treated our dog like their own. I liked that they checked him for fleas, that we could see the play area and that all the incoming pups were happy to be there. I would give them 10 bones if I could. We have visited many daycare facilities and this is the first one that gave us total peace of mind about leaving our fur baby in their care.

  Love this place!!!

  We are very fussy about who takes care of our dogs. The first day we arrived, as they opened, we met a few other pet owners who were waiting for the doors to open. Each and every one told us how pleased they were with the Green K9, so we were immediately relieved. As it turned out, our dogs loved their day care and they were there 2 days in a row. We were extremely pleased with how the place looks and operates, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. We especially appreciated that they examined our dogs for fleas upon arrival. Our dogs were actually anxious to return on the second day. They have a well stocked store, from leashes to treats to food, and everything was clean and organized. We will not hesitate to use their daycare services when we return to the area.

  The best place ever!

  WOW!!!! I am over-the-top impressed with this facility. I became disgusted with a prior facility in Leesburg after finding my dog ALONE in a room, being ignored as he paced and howled due to separation anxiety they were well aware of. At Green K-9 that will NEVER be the case. A staff member is WITH the dogs in their respectful playrooms at ALL times. And I love that they really DO go outside every hour instead of it just being an empty sales pitch. I finally have a place where I can feel good about leaving my dog to be boarded when the occasion arises and not be worried sick about him. Praises to Marni Lewis and her entire staff of dog lovers. You guys ROCK!
