Lorna’s training flock features Monadnock Mini sheep, which have been bred specifically for their willingness to work with sheepdogs, their high quality curly wool, their sweet and gentle dispositions, and their small manageable size that make them ideal for beginning shepherds. In 2010, Lorna imported her flock of Minis from her farm in New Hampshire to her farm on PEI, and has been enjoying working with Canadian Maritime sheepdog handlers ever since.
