Save A Yorkie Rescue We are not a shelter - we have no building. We are a rescue and our Yorkies are in family homes in 6 different states throughout the northeast.

We take in Yorkies who need a home and rehabilitate them, vet them. Then we find wonderful homes for them.

Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue, Inc. Mid-Atlantic Jack Rescue, Inc. is an organization that was started by fellow terrier enthusiasts who wanted to help jack Russell Terriers and the Jack mixes that may be overlooked by other rescues or the general public.

Nearly every volunteer MAJR uses has a wealth of experience to draw from regarding Jacks & Jack Mixes. We use this cumulative knowlege to help educate the public and animal welfare organizations about this breed of canine, to assist those who are in need of a home, to assist owners with problems in their relationship with their dog, and thereby reducing the number of homeless Jacks and assisting in preventing cruelty to animals.

They do not have a physical shelter you can visit - all animals are housed in foster homes. All 4 Paws Rescue, Inc. is made up of volunteers and foster homes that care for and socialize animals. Most dogs and cats have been rescued from "death row" from high-kill shelters and auctions and given a second chance at life. DOBER, Inc. (Dreaming of Better Endings Rescue) DOBER, Inc. (Dreaming of Better Endings Rescue) is a nonprofit, all-volunteer organization whose mission is to rescue and rehome displaced dogs, with a focus on Doberman Pinschers and with a special emphasis on making distinct matches between dogs and adoptive families. We do this by comprehensively evaluating the dogs and carefully screening their potential adopters, and then matching them up in our endeavor to provide each dog with a forever home. We employ our best efforts to restore and protect the image of this very special breed and are committed to helping those in need, regardless of age, appearance, or health, often focusing on seniors and special needs dogs. Additionally, we offer hospice care to those dogs that are not likely candidates for adoption due to medical conditions. We also seek to serve as a resource to the community by guiding those in need to resources and assistance, as well as by educating the public about the Doberman Pinscher breed and about responsible pet guardianship, the importance of rescue groups, and the misconceptions surrounding pet adoption and rescue dogs.
