Smashburger San Diego has created a “secret menu” based on items that Smashfans have crafted on their own. One of these items is the Fido Style Smashburger - a dog-friendly patty made with an unseasoned 1/4 pound, 100% fresh, never frozen, certified Angus beef patty served in convenient bite-sized pieces and on a dog-friendly plate. To order the item, guests simply need to request a Smashburger "Fido Style." Smashburger La Jolla is open from 10am to 10pm seven days a week.

On our first trip with our dogs, we were trying to find low key places to eat (not knowing how they would behave). They had no idea what "Fido Style" was, brought my husband & son's meal, but forgot to make mine. The patio was tiny (we have two Yorkie mix dogs), and we felt a little cramped.
The shakes were amazing though!
