      Great lunch with our pup!

      Our doggie, Dingo, thinks Ashley is his new bestie! He hated to leave even though we were finished with our delicious IPA’s, Scottish Salmon, and Rueben. Wonderful stop along Riverwalk!

      Waxy O’Connor’s Irish Pub has a great dog patio, right on the riverwalk. The IPA draft beer and the Shepard’s pie were great. Bring your own water bowl. The staff was helpful.

      Dog & family friendly!

      Service was so friendly! Brought us water for our dog dish right away, and owner gave us the 411 on why curry is in the menu at an Irish pub—it was excellent as was the Shepherds Pie & Guinness stew.

      Good food and great service!

      We’re traveling the US in our RV and always appreciate finding dog friendly restaurants. The staff here was very friendly. Immediately brought a bowl of ice water for our dog. The food was really good. We shared the shepherds pie and each had a side salad. Very filling lunch. Would definitely recommend for diners with or without k9 companions.

      Great Irish Food and Pet Friendly

      We stopped here for lunch while walking with our dog on the Riverwalk. So glad we chose this place! Our food was fabulous- portions huge- and the outdoor seating was spacious and comfortable enough for our boxer, Dooby. The whole family enjoyed the casual atmosphere and tasty Irish food. We will definitely be back again when visiting San Antonio.
