  Pup friendly, great staff, good eats!

  we sat outside and ate with friends and our pooch. the staff immediately brought her some water and were very attentive to her and us! a must stop for pup moms and dads!

  Awesome place to take the fur babies

  It's a great place to stop in and grab a drink while breaking from a walk on the waterway! They will bring your fur babies water as soon as you walk in 🥰🍻🐕

  Great food, great reception for your fur pals

  We love this place and visit as often as we can for lunch, year round. It's a wonderful resting spot when taking our three weiner dogs for walkies along the water. The food and beverage menus prove consistently excellent, along with the friendly service (a few of our collective faves are artichoke dip, tuna salad, and shepherds' pie). Most importantly, our boys always enjoy the opportunity to chill out in chairs beside us, or, on a mat at our feet (they are very well behaved and always receive compliments, as such). We wish all eating establishments were as welcoming and consistent as this place! We highly recommend the Goose's Acre to all other fur parents.

  Not To Be Missed

  Fantastic Night. Right On Waterway, Big Downstairs Patio With Plenty Of Table Space For Pups.. Irish Nachos With Corned Beef Are Fantastic, Irish Bread Pudding Enough For 2. Guinness And Cider Half N Half’s And The 18 Year Old Scotch Flight Are Not To Be Missed. Good Service. Friendly Patio Mates.

  Hot Spot!

  A very spacious patio perfect for a hot day where our waiter brought our pup a bowl of water upon arrival!

  Waterfront Dog Friendly Patio

  Patio was great for lunch with our pooch. Temp was 96degrees but fans and shade kept us cool. Ice water for all guests and we’d come back for the deviled eggs and Irish ☘️ nachos with corned beef!

  Awesome Pet Friendly Even On A Busy sat Night

  We went there on Saturday night, a bit worried that being there on a busy time might make it less pet friendly. Heaters on patio and waiter brought the dog a bowl of water. It was amazing service, amazing food, and puppy felt welcome too! Kudos!

  We bike on the waterway with our pup all the time & he whines as we go by The Goose’s Acre if we don’t stop there. He loves it there & we do to!

  Dog lovers paradise

  Spent all day here and my dog loved it! He was given water right away and a biscuit. He loves the atmosphere and so do I. All the waitresses are incredible, the managers are on top of it and the owner even came around! This place is fantastic!!!

  Our new favorite

  We've always loved the food and drinks here but now we are crazy about their dog friendly patio. The waiters almost took better care of the dogs than us. And they took excellent care of us! We love walking along the waterway with our dog and stopping here for a drink and some food.

  Love this place!!!

  A must come! Beautiful atmosphere , unique, great food, (try the chicken wings or fish and chips!) one of the few places that let you bring your 4 legged baby. This deserves a 5 bones and a diamond

  We will be back

  I am so grateful this place exists! we were able to bring our little baby here and we had a lovely time. They mist the patio down to help cool it. We moved here from Houston, which isn't that far, but for dog owners, it's a huge adjustment since Houston is so pet friendly. You need to try this place if your pet is part of your family too. We will be back!
