  Service animals only?

  Signs at the front of the building and on the porch say service animals only. When I asked a bartender he said it was no problem and to go to the back porch and they even had dog bowls. Very confusing but overall a good experience.

  Great Outdoor Area

  SRB has a great outdoor area with fans and dog bowls. The staff is very dog friendly and is great! I understand the issue with the patio, but there is plenty of space with outdoor tables and covers. Great spot for the pups!

  definitely NOT dog friendly

  We've been in SRB dozens of times (mostly after work) and the owners golden retriever is usually there. There are no signs that indicate dogs are not allowed (other than a hand written sign on the back porch that says "dogs not allowed on porch"). We went on a Saturday and decided to bring our dog. The owners daughter proceeded to yell at us and rudely kicked us out after we'd been there for 3 hours hanging out with no problems. Needless to say, we won't be back. There are plenty of super dog friendly breweries in the Upstate and we don't need to waste our time there.

  Not That Dog Friendly

  I think they have good intentions because they have water bowls available, but I was there on a Friday evening with my dog. The only place with sit with a dog was in the hot sun so close to the street that noisy trucks startled the dog. The back deck is a perfect shady spot for dogs, but they won't allow them there, claiming their insurance doesn't cover it.
