    It all started in 1999 when Owners Dan and Peggy Wesner were looking for the perfect spot for their new restaurant. In September 1999 the found their perfect little place. Fish Tales Seafood House right on the water is now one of St. Pete’s most happening places to be. Fish Tales Seafood and Steak House provides a unique dining experience for locals and visitors. Not only can you arrive at this seafood dive by car or foot, but you can also dock your boat in the marina! Sit under the grass hut and enjoy a fish sandwich or dinner while sipping a crisp chilled beer next to the majestic sailboats. Inquire about the daily specials, Happy Hour offerings, and live music every Sunday. Come in and enjoy our famous Smoked Fish Spread or Seafood Volcano as an appetizer, both are sure to leave you satisfied and keep you coming back for more.       I have a small dog, and had her in a dog purse on a chair and they told us she was not aloud on the chair or on my lap and must be keep on the ground. I am leaving a 2 out of 5 because of they way they approached us about it. They were VERY RUDE. For small dog owners this is definitely a negative. Bring a towel because the floor is pretty dirty. On the bright side: the food was good, and had a dodgy menu. We ordered the chicken with rice and carrots and it was a pretty good size , and the view was pretty good as well.

      This is the best place to end a long day of boating. And very pet friendly.
