  Great spot for late night eats with the pups!

  We got to Coronado late on a Sunday and everything seemed to be closed. Then we found McP's, it was everything could ask for. Great service, super dog-friendly, lovely staff, full kitchen open late and good tunes. We go to the island every summer now and McP's is always our choice for snacking and drinking late, everyone there is happy to hang out and wants to say hello to our two rescue pit bulls, such a good place!

  Great music and lovely staff

  We had an amazing day at McP’s with our two puppies on the patio! Thanks for being good to the dogs and great to the humans too.

  Kids and dogs welcome, adults tolerated. It's the closest thing to a dive bar I've seen on the island. Solid beer choices, good food, and they love dogs! Got a water bowl for my guy and plenty of pets! Food was good, excellent pub fare!

  Great food, large outdoor patio with plenty of seating. The sign out front says kids and dogs welcome! Waiter offered water for our dog. Other guests weren't bothered by us, and there was another dog here as well.

  very dog friendly

  Very dog friendly. There were about 6 or so dogs that came in while we were here, with that being said, if your dog is not good around other dogs probably not the best place. While there is a large patio, it’s seemingly smaller with that many dogs. Happy, good service nice place.

  Great spot in town

  This is a must visit for every trip to Coronado. The outdoor patio is large and is a great spot to relax and have a bite to eat. The staff is very welcoming to your dog. The food is good and well-priced for Coronado.

  Great!

  We enjoyed our stop at McPs after spending a couple of hours at the dog beach. Pup was very thirsty, and got two refills quickly. The food and beer were great, the breeze on the patio was very nice, and if we lived closer we'd most likely be back regularly.

  Good option for dining with your dog!

  Good food, good atmosphere and casual patio. Personal water bowl for our pup very enjoyable dinner with our dog!

  The service industry needs a make over

  Yes you can bring your pup, but don't expect friendly service or great food. The beer on tap was not cold enough and was served in a warm glass.. the Ruben sandwich was good but nothing outstanding. looks nothing like the photo posted here. perhaps 20 years ago it looked like that....

  I had heard that McP's was a great place to go with your dog and boy is that true! The outside patio is huge and they don't even blink if you ask about bringing your dog with you. Plus, the food is terrific and very reasonably priced - especially for Coronado.
