  Would do again

  Our server was named Michael. It was a off &on rainy day so business was slow. We were the only ones in the porch area with our dog but we were not forgotten! Michael wss diligent as well as two others came in frequently to check in on us! The appetizers and food were prepared to our specifications (as I am pregnant and can't eat some things without feeling ill and we also wanted our pup to be able to eat something with us so we ordered dry burnt ends for him) hands down would go again & appreciate the good service we received!

  Nice and friendly

  The place is dog friendly. They have a designated area for dogs and their humans to eat in. We were under a enclosed patio which was very nice. The server was very nice and friendly in comparison to our experience to another popular dog friendly restaurant. I'm giving a 4 star instead of a 5 because the food wasn't the greatest for the price. It reminded me of Phil's Bar b q in San Diego but I think the food there is tastier. Just didn't have enough flavor for me. Though the server was nice they didn't check on us too often and when my dog spilled the water all over the floor there was no place for him to lay down anymore and no way for me to clean it up or any server to ask for assistance. But I would recommend and return back. Maybe the servers were a bit tied up because there was a reception going on in the patio also. So maybe had there been no reception the servers could have been more attentive. Thank you for being dog friendly!

  great patio

  Nothing could be better than a large (warm in winter) patio, a pup menu, great barbecue, and friendly staff. We love taking our German shepherd with us to dinner and have found no other restaurant as kind and friendly to dogs as Lucille's.
