  Service and food abysmal!!!

  covered porch is great!! however no one acknowledged our 20 lb Australian labradoodle who everyone loves!! we brought own bowl and water so ok.

  see 1 star yelp review for details about food and service. took an hour to get food, only one of 5 things ordered were eaten cuz so bad and no concern or apology from server

  cuz of good reviews could not believe it !!! if going for drinks be okay otherwise pass

  Dog lovers!

  Great stop if you’re in Elko. Server was so-so but food was excellent. Brought an individual bacon and green bean side for our Golden and showered her with attention, which she loved! They are clearly dog lovers at Mattie’s - highly recommend.

  Dog Friendly

  We stopped and had dinner here while traveling. Stephanie was so friendly and gave our two huskies a ton of attention. She brought them water and even offered a doggie dessert at the end ofour meal, which they loved! The food was delicious and we all left with a smile. I highly recommend this restaurant.

  Delicious Food

  First long road trip with our pup so we were very happy to find this dog-friendly restaurant in Elko. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend the Fish Tacos and the French Dip. We sat out front with our dog. They brought water for him. The service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back.

  Great lunch stop

  Convenient location near I-80. Spacious patio. Friendly service and the waitress brought water out for the dog. Good food.

  Great Spot For A Drink And Dinner

  Patio is dog friendly and although it is facing the parking lot, it also faces the rubies. They have a bowl of water and hose if you forgot your own water.

  Treated my dog great!

  They made sure she had water and brought her some ice cream. Our food was good too!

  Great service

  Came here for dinner on our way to Idaho. The food is great. I got the salmon my husband had the pork chop.
  The most exceptional thing about this place is the service. They are very dog friendly a nice outdoor porch. And I have special dietary needs that they went out of their way to accommodate. I appreciated it so much.
  This is a must stop for you and your puppies.

  Not kid friendly

  We arrived at 4:12pm, wanting to eat on the patio with our dog and 8 year old daughter. The hostess said because people "tend to start drinking on the patio around 4" they don't seat kids there after 4. There wasn't any one else sitting on the patio and we were only there for a quick bite to eat. They turned us away rather than seating us on the patio! It's 95 degrees today. I seriously doubt anyone was going to go out there and start drinking and even if they were having a beer at the table next to us, how would that be an issue for our daughter?

  Great food!

  We've eaten here for years and have NEVER had a bad meal - everything's always been great. They have an outdoor patio and welcome pets. In fact Mattie's has been a big supporter of our animal shelter - donating money and encouraging adoptions from the shelter!
