Great spot to relax with your furry friend.

We stopped by The Lazy Hiker on the recommendation of friends and we were not disappointed. Water and bowls are available and there is ample seating. Beers are great and the staff is awesome!

    Great Location. Very dog friendly

awesome little bar with indoor and outdoor seating, (outdoor seating has fire pit). Dogs are allowed inside and out as long as they are leashed and well behaved. beer selection was solid and the food truck provided decent food fare. would definitely go again with the ol’ puggle

    Dog friendly!

excellent food at the food truck outside! we had the mushroom and Swiss burger with potato salad and both were outstanding! the fire pit on the patio is lovely since it’s a cold evening in November. I got the chocolate vanilla stout and it’s super tasty! We love this spot!

    Great Outdoor Spot

lots of seats with shade and sun. great local craft beers and ciders. there is also a little food truck typically right outside that you can get snacks from (burritos, quesadillas, burgers, wraps, etc.). our pupper had a great time relaxing and meeting the other few dogs hanging out with their humans.

Lazy Or Not, It’s A Great Place

The trails in the area are almost endless. Tango and Delta enjoyed the cool down while I enjoyed some great local brews.

    dog friendly brew

This is the first brewery in Franklin! And what a great way to begin with their inaugural brews. This taproom just opened last month and we were fortunate to chat with one of the founders who shared his fascinating story of how this brewery started, truly as an effort by the community who not only agreed to sell the old firehouse and old town hall to be beautifully refurbished, but also invested in the business!
While there is no restaurant here, there is a food truck that resides next to the establishment (Fork in the Road) during the week. The taproom is dog-friendly and welcomes your dog on the patio; waitstaff will even bring him a bowl of water and a biscuit. We wish The Lazy Hiker much future success.
