  Super Dog and People Friendly!

  This is our favorite place to visit on our annual Greyhounds Reach the Beach trip. They have a fun menu and the mojitos are great to enjoy in this beach vibe atmosphere. It’s biergarten in the back is the hidden gem of Rehoboth Beach!

  Relaxing and shady

  Tucked under shady trumpet vines and breezy fans with soft sand under paw, this was a good dinner stop . We went before it was crowded and no live music. We had a delicious meal (coconut shrimp and blackened grouper) It has a fun and relaxed vib.
  Several dogs were there, but plenty of room to spread out.

  Atmosphere can't be beat

  Hospitality and service a 10!Super-cute place. We went here, as we were touring Delaware, because they are pet-friendly. We were glad we did. As the hostess gave us a tour of all the outdoor dining areas to choose from, our dog (Popeye) checked out the watering bowls along the way. There were lots of shady tables. I enjoyed a crock of seafood gumbo and husband had to the mini crab balls. Since they weren't busy, the bartender came over to take our orders and check on Popeye's needs. It was the beginning of the off season so we were lucky to find a parking spot close by. Highly recommend, not only for the food, but for the atmosphere.

  Great Food

  We didn’t take our GSP along but we ate here twice in August and the food was great. The atmosphere is fun and beach vibes. The staff were all friendly. My older kids loved the outside seating in the Sandy area. We’ll definitely go back in the future and hopefully bring our pup along.

  Dog Friendly and Wonderful Location

  We actually did not initially look for Purple Parrot on Bring Fido. But after our experience here, we were not surprised when we later found it on Bring Fido with a 5 bone rating. Moments after sitting down, one of the staff brought Annie a bowl of water without being asked. Later, another staff member showed up with a handful of treats for her as well. The restaurant is well situated on the main drag by the beach. They have a full bar and the menu had a good variety of offerings. Everything we ordered was tasty, including a large pretzel with horseradish cheese sauce, a French Dip and a salad topped with an optional, local crab cake. If visiting Rehoboth with (or without) Fido, I definitely recommend Purple Parrot.

  Great pet-friendly beer garden/biergarten

  I took my pup, Tuukka, on a cool weekday afternoon. There were few people in the beer garden, and we had our choice of bench seats. I ordered at the bar (they have Franziskaner on tap!), and was given a cup of water for my pup's water bowl. Plenty of sand so I took off my shoes and socks, stretched Tuukka's blanket for him and looked around, appreciating the canopy of vines and building's colorful walls for sheltering us from the breeze. I had the fish tacos (4), and Tuukka had a bacon cheeseburger. Friendly bartender and patrons made for an enjoyable afternoon; they held onto Tuukka while I visited the men's room. The propane firepits were being lit as we left; we'll be back.

  Friendly To Dogs But Small Area

  we ate dinner outside here and they were super friendly towArds dogs however the small seating area and hightop tables made it hard to enjoy our dinner and keep the dogs calm.

  Phoenix Loves A Good Biergarten!

  Where to begin when it comes to Purple Parrot? Down an alley off the side of the parrot is an awesome hidden biergarten. Sandy tables! Shady vines overhead! Icy water bowls! What dog wouldn’t love it. If you take your pooch to only one place in Rehoboth, Purple Parrot is your stop.

  Amazing spot for pups

  We loved the outside beach bar here! We brought our dog 🐶 and enjoyed awesome food and drinks. They even brought our pup a water bowl

  Can't beat the Prime Rib Special

  Hubby and I first discovered the Purple Parrot Grill last spring when we were in town for the Golden Jubilee with our Golden Retriever Riley and we needed to eat at restaurants that were pet friendly. We spent this past weekend in Rehoboth to celebrate hubby's birthday and for dinner he wanted to come here for the Prime Rib Special. The place is always hopping and Sunday night was no different, I just wish we would have been able to stay for the drag show karaoke. We had the most awesome server - Oleg and he was kind enough to warn us that the Pepsi was a little flat and recommended another beverage choice so we decided on Crushes which were only $5, both my grapefruit and hubby's orange crush were delicious and served in tall iced tea glasses, very impressive. We started with the Island Mojo Bones and they were so delicious hubby is still talking about them. We both got the Prime Rib Special, you can't beat it that's for sure - 16 oz. Prime Rib w/au jus, Garlic Mashed Potatoes and steamed veggies all for $12.75. From start to finish the meal was perfect and Oleg hooked us up with new cups of au jus, boxes and silverware for our leftovers. This restaurant is located on the main strip of Rehoboth so parking can be a bit of a pain (but totally worth it), I recommend downloading the Parkmobile app to pay for the metered parking because you can extend your time right from your phone, allowing you to enjoy the Purple Parrot vibe. Both outdoor and indoor seating is available and every day they have a different special.

  dog friendly

  Nice (shirtless) male staff catered to out doggy and brought him a bowl of ice water. Very pleased. Outdoor space had fans and was sandy with beach atmosphere. Would go again.
