  Always good food and a big outdoor area for pups

  We decided to try the Runway Cafe since it was close to our appointment with the specialty veterinarian in Greenville. We had our golden retriever with us and wanted to eat outside so she was not locked in the car. That’s too dangerous in the summer! We enjoyed our time here. It was an overcast day and breezy. The burgers were so big we had to squish them down a bit to get in our mouth! The food was quite good. Food was hot upon delivery to our table. Lots of kids playing on the playground attached. Our golden retriever normally won’t eat or drink when there are lots of distractions around but she did here! Service was good. We definitely will be back when in the area.

  My mid-day getaway

  This is one of my favorite spots for lunch. It is so nice to grab my pup, sit outside and enjoy the planes as they take off and land. The staff is always very kind to my Scottie, with fresh water. The food is fresh and tasty.

  Great spot for good dogs!

  This is one of my family's favorite pet-friendly restaurants! The outdoor atmosphere is sometimes lively and filled with young children and families. My dog loves coming here during my lunch break and we enjoy the menu of sandwiches and salads. I recommend the tomato basil soup and grilled cheese! It's a classic! The waiters will even bring your dog water upon request!

  better option for kids

  This is a neat idea and it was cool to be near the humane society, but this is probably a better kids attraction. The food was just basic diner food, not overwhelming. The floors outside were a bit dirty so we had to watch for our pup eating things. While we were there, the strip was uneventful and relatively boring, though we were told Saturday morning was busier. They have a playground, so probably better to bring a plane-obsessed toddler and go pick out a new friend at the humane society after.
