Great food, great service, kind to pups

We had a wonderful lunch here. The staff was very sweet to our dog and brought him a biscuit. Not sure if they have water bowls as we brought our own. I gave it 4 bones rather than 5 only because the patio is small and you have to wind your way between tables and back through the restaurant vestibule to take your dog out. It’s on a busy street so not really a great place for your dog to relieve himself. Only really an issue if you have a larger dog. Service is fast so we weren’t there all that long. Just a note in case you were looking for a place to hang out for a while. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating though and we enjoyed our meal.

    Always great food

been coming here for years and always has excellent food. We were happy when we were traveling through town with our dog that you can bring them. Great place! Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed ourselves.

    Very Dog Friendly!

In the middle of a very long road trip, we stopped in Frederick and chose this restaurant because this site said they were pet friendly. They absolutely were! Our fantastic waiter brought our little dude some water, made some excellent recommendations (the crab dip and the fish and chips were divine!) and was incredibly kind and attentive throughout the meal. This place is a gem.

Very Dog Friendly & Awesome Food

we went last week on a Thursday and they were awesome! we had walked our 75lb lab through a short hallway to a nicely shaded patio where we were greeted by more staff wanting to love on our Levi! (obviously we let them). they brought him out a water bottle before we even got our drinks! food is delicious (I’m partial to their crab dip, it’s to die for) I highly recommend to anyone with their pooches!

    Popular outdoor cafe

We've been here twice with our dog. Central location for walking the town and the canal. Great food. The outdoor seating is a bit crowded but accommodating.

    Rocky start

They allowed my dog out on the patio, but seemed very confused by us wanting to eat there. They sent us outside to sit, and then after a minute asked if we planned on ordering food. Once they got over their initial confusion things were fine. The waiter was very nice and brought out a water bowl with ice in it, which was great for a hot day. Food came out very quickly as well.

    pet friendly

We had a long day of hiking first so it was the perfect time to take the dogs out to dinner since they were tired. The dogs were welcomed right in and got served a bowl of water and treats. The human food and beer were awesome as well!

    Dog gone good!

So today (April 2) the sun shone brightly in the blue sky and the people of the world emerged with dog on leash to see the spring once more.

Nothing quite like that first real spring day, of course the dog friendly restaurants of Frederick were packed. The front patio of Brewer's was swarmed with spring adventures and their little dogs too. My self and my pup, were going to need a little more space. We were in luck, as we found out they had a side/back patio (with far less people and animals) that we could utilize as well.

Not that my girl is my any means going to use a lap dog as a chew toy, but she is 75lbs space is of the essence.

Also the fried pickles were delicious and beer tasty too! Recommend the smoked wheat ale by Monocacy ....something brewery.

    Very Accomodating

The entire staff was welcoming of my furbaby and lead us out to the patio. They gave him a large bowl of water as well. Very nice!
