      Great Food and Staff

      Incredible food on a puppy-friendly porch! We went to Mex 1 for lunch and it was delicious! They gave our fur babies water and lots of love. Will definitely go back here next time we’re in Charleston

      Best set up for early afternoon lunch

      Patio is perfectly shaded, lots of water handy, and staff is very friendly. Best taco place so far in the area, would go again when back in town.

      Amazing food & staff

      Selena C was super nice, fun and an overall great server.

      My son ordered the tacos from the adult menu and they were too spicy for him so I ate them. I’ll be back for more if those!!!

      Our pup was welcome and enjoyed her time on the patio with us.

      Great Food and Friendly Staff

      The food was pretty good with a decent size menu. The chips and salsa were good. Patio dining is very dog friendly with alot of staff coming out to pet our dogs.

      Very nice staff

      The place is dog friendly and has a front and back patio. The parking is a bit strange if it’s full in the front.

      Mex 1 Was Delish

      after a long morning walking Charles Towne Landing, Hal & I had a beer Mex 1. Any dish with the word “banging” in front of it is what to order here. While the quesadillas are oversized and filling, the chips, quest and guac would have sufficed. Very dog friendly, and Hal approved.

      Super Nice Staff!!

      Staff is amazingly pet-friendly. Roadside location might be too loud for skittish pups.

      Great but small

      The staff is very welcoming and the food wonderful. The only downside is the patio is small.
