  Hands down, the best restaurant for dogs!

  This family-owned restaurant loves dogs! They have a wonderful covered patio in the back and their food is real down-home cooking. It was a great experience all around.

  Mayor's Place loves dogs!

  The food here is out of this world and they love dogs. One time, even just walking my three-legged dog (he'd had a front leg amputation due to cancer)past the restaurant at closing time the head chef and owner, Chris, came running out with a bowl of ice-water for my pooped out dog (his first hopping walk after the surgery.) Chris called his wife out and they both loved on my dog so sweetly, it brought tears to my eyes. The place is a local treasure and only open until 2 in the afternoon so plan your visit for an amazing breakfast or lunch. This fun and funky local will blow you away when you test the 5 star cuisine and service in a down home, old fashioned American Diner Dream. Don't miss it!

  Great food and pet friendly.

  No pet friendly restaurants were listed on Bring Fido in Nipomo but we noticed that The Mayor's Place had a patio and it turned out that they are very pet friendly. Our breakfasts were wonderful and everything seemed to be home made including the sausage and hashed browns. The toast was also special. They brought a bowl of water and tri-tip pieces for our dog which was amazing. The service was great as well. They definitely deserve 5 bones.
