  They love dogs here!

  This was the second time I've stopped here with my dog passing through Ventura. The tap list here is great and the food is very good too. I ordered the fish tacos. Best part, they really love dogs here. The outdoor space is large and on a warm, end of summer day they brought a doggie bowl of cold water. They also have a doggie menu. Definitely recommend.

  Great craft beers

  The Moore Pugs enjoyed their grilled chicken. Tyler cried fowl when Dudley’s bowl of chicken was bigger but so is he. The humans had good food and better craft beers. The only drawback was the outdoor area’s proximity to the street. It made for a noisy environment.

  we came here because we saw good reviews from other bring Fido reviewers. the staff was friendly and attentive and they are dog friendly. The food was ok, nothing to brag home about. we shared the bacon Mac n cheese. it was a little dry, the cheese sauce had settled to the bottom by the time we got it. there were more fried onion strips than bacon. my wife ordered the garden salad and it had way more cucumber and tomato than lettuce. she liked it but it wasn’t her favorite. the dressing was very good. I ordered the BLAT sandwich and it was good.

  Pub And Grub

  Decent sized enclosed patio with heaters and rain protection. Huge selection of beer, typical pub grub on the menu. Patio was open at dinner time on a weeknight, fills up quickly on weekends.

  Dog friendly

  Love the huge variety of beer on tap at Barrelhouse 101. Their food is good but the bill can get expensive quickly!
  Their attached patio is dog friendly however it may not be a favorite spot for your dog. It can get really warm and stuffy since it is a covered patio with lots of sunlight.
