  Great location, food, beer & very dog friendly!

  Waited in the shaded area at the picnic tables while drinking beer until a table on the patio opened up. Only had to wait a short time & we're seated at a table on the patio. They have dog bowls if you don't have one! Staff was very nice to our pup :)
  Great food and nice cold beer we're a plus!!

  Great Food and Amazing Staff

  Stopped by and received great drink recommendations. Shared the Caesar Chicken Salad flatbread. The wait staff provided a bowl of cold water, much needed on this 90 degree day! We were not rushed and enjoyed our time chatting with some locals.

  Late March. we’re happy to let me and my lab sit on the patio, even though we would be the only ones out there. beer was good too

  Nice outdoor dining area

  with 2 pet friendly areas this place is great! menu has something for everyone. only draw back is the busy road it’s on so watch your pet carefully.

  Good food with live music

  We stopped in on a Friday night and it was quite busy. They had live music in the biergarten. From our understanding it was self ordering at window for biergarten picnic tables, wait staff delivers the food to table. We waited for one of the 4 tables on patio that had waiter service. Ordered cheeseburger sliders and pulled pork sliders off kid's menu for dogs. It even had a cheese and crackers appetizers for the kid's meals (2 saltines crackers and 1.5 slices of white American cheese cut diagonally). The sweet and smokey wings were awesome. Patio is right next to main road so loud at times.

  Nice place, average food, friendly staff

  Awesome Outdoor Seating.
  Staff was friendly accommodating with us having 2 dogs. There is plenty of outdoor seating in a shaded park like area where you can enjoy brews and dinner with dogs

  Limited menu

  The outdoor menu is limited (the kid’s menu is not available, for example, so they couldn’t provide the grilled cheese on the regular menu). Many of their beers were also unavailable.

  Great beer, food, and dog friendly

  Had a great meal in the beer garden with my wife and our dog. Everyone was super nice to our dog and the service and food were great! Will definitely be back!

  Perfect place to bring your pup!

  spacious Biergarten perfect for any dog with the tables spaced far enough apart to allow your dog some personal space. it was a great experience!

  Only dog friendly in the sunshine.

  For the record, they will not serve you outside if it “looks like it might rain.” We were completely happy to order from the bar and take it outside. O’Rorkes down the street happily accommodated us, rain and all.

  Perfect Beer Garden!

  At first we weren't sure if we wanted to wait 30 minutes for a table at lunchtime, we figured we would give it a try. Pleasant surprise when we were called after only 15 minutes!

  The beer garden has a perfect atmosphere- it is calm, quiet and spacious, big trees and lots of shade. The tables are spaced out so that no other people/dogs are right on top of you which is so nice. Plenty of room for dogs and strollers. The service was really great too, our waitress was very attentive. Food (mac and cheese and pierogies!), beer, and cocktails all delicious. Best thing for us was the vibe- feels like you are just relaxing in a park, but with excellent restaurant service. It is very popular so you may have to wait but worth it!

  ABC in Gettysburg is one of our favorite places to take the dogs! they have a beautiful beer garden. Even with covid

  Nice Dog Space

  First time taking our girl to a restaurant. She did great, the outdoor space was nice and accommodating and the food and beer was tasty!! Thanks for allowing dogs!!

  Great place for dogs in Gettysburg

  We often bring our dog to ABC as it is one of the most dog friendly restaurants in town. The service is usually great, and my dog enjoys all the sights, and sounds! We’ve had great visits at both the beer garden and the patio.

  Sooo Many Bees!!

  THere were a ton of aggressive bees on the outside patio. The management didn’t care. I watched another dog get stung. We got our food to go and ate in the car.

  Biergarten is awesome

  The large Biergarten is perfect for guests with pets - it’s large, has many tables, and is well shaded. The staff is friendly and the service was fast. Our 1 1/2 year old granddaughter enjoyed being able to run around. Can’t wait to bring our dog next time!

  Thanks For Being There

  We bring our dog to pet friendly restaurant fully aware that we will have to make some minor concessions in exchange for the convenience of having Fido dine with us. Some of the comments posted with low ratings are laughable. (e.g: I went to eat outdoors and when it rained they didn’t invite my dog inside to share it’s fur, fleas, etc. with the customers inside. I’m unhappy because I went to a successful restaurant during peak hours and they didn’t expand and construct a new table for my dog and I to sit at.) We frequent pet friendly establishments. You guys are doing great. Hopefully this 5-bone rating will improve your overall average rating. Peace!

  My experience was great with my dogs and family. They had great outdoor space that was perfect for any four legged friend. The food offered a fun twist to classic American food. The surface was fast and friendly. Overall was a great and fun experience!

  Lots of bees

  Not very dog friendly as water was not offered. Gave my dog my glass of water and it was never refilled. Slow service. And major bee problem. Here's a thought...find the next and eradicate them instead of using deterants that don't work.

  Nice beer garden in good weather

  Went on a Friday night and sat in the beer garden. Very limited menu offered from the walk up window, would have liked to try some of the options on the regular menu. Outside covered patio only has 4 tables, so I imagine it would be a long wait.

  They advertise being dogfriendly, but when you dine here with your little puppy and your family with kids and the rain starts pouring, they leave you outside with your food and your puppy. Not dog and people friendly at all!!

  It looks very nice

  They have a nice outdoor area, two actually. I suspect Charles Dickens designed this place, because it's the best of times and the worst of times. For those select, lucky few, able to score a table in the friendly confines, I'm sure everything is wonderful. I don't know, because we were relegated to sitting in their beer garden. Very very limited menu. Some basic sandwiches and fried foods, not even a burger. AND more importantly, no water bowls for the pets. IF you want to go be prepared to wait (we were told an hour), or get there around 4:00 PM. Note, this may be a little more critical because they're billed as a pet friendly place, and I don't really see it.

  Above and beyond

  We first visited ABC last summer (2016) as a couple, and loved the fresh food, the dining room and staff, and of course the brews. We were excited to find them on BringFido's site when we had two grandkids and our 4-month-old Sheltie along. The staff could not have done more for us—welcoming Fiona, seating us INDOORS!, and making sure she had enough water to keep her happy while we ate. Fiona was so relaxed, she slept on my lap for the entire meal. In other news: the kids' menu was crafted like an adult restaurant meal, with a cheese plate appetizer and homemade entrees (rather than canned and frozen generic crud to keep them occupied while the paying customers ate). This may have been smart business, because we were happy to stay and enjoy a full meal including dessert—but we kept getting the deeper message "We love dogs!" and we were welcomed from the time we arrived to when the waitstaff gathered around Fiona for one last pet. Awesome!

  Great Patio for our Fur Baby!

  My wife and I have been looking forward to trying out the new location of ABC and we were so glad that we brought our beagle Mason along with us! The outdoor seating and patio was perfect; there were no problems finding a seat on the patio. Across from the patio there was also additional seating in the beer garden. All of the outdoor seating was nicely shaded, which we really appreciate when it was still a little warm out at dinnertime. The food and craft beer was top notch too, and the waitress was super friendly and brought a dish of water out for our pup and checked on us often. We will be coming back with our puppy again soon!

  Family Restaurant

  Food and beer selection and service is super! Location is ideal for tourists. Building was completed in 2016 but blends in with historic area.
