  Great food and dog friendly patio

  My friend and I stopped in with 2 dogs (cavapoo, 26lbs & golden doodle puppy, 23 lbs). The patio had about 7-8 tables, so there was decent space! The restaurant was not far off I-95 with a convenient parking lot that had some grassy areas. Cute town, patio was shaded, they had dog water bowls and staff was very friendly. Our food was delicious.. teenager got a burger and the adults got friend green tomatoes, shrimp and grits and lobster Mac! Would definitely recommend!

  Great food and service

  Stopped here for lunch with my two GSDs. Our server brought a bowl of water for the pups right away and gave them lots of loving. The fried green tomatoes and grits (substitute chicken for the shrimp!) were incredible.

  Great find

  we stopped here on our way down 95. called to see if patio was open since it was a bit chilly outside (55 degrees) and even though it wasn’t when I mentioned we had a dog with us Jordan said I will serve you outside as long as you ask for me when you get here. We did and the Shrimp with grits was AMAZING!! DH had a chicken sandwich which he also liked with fries and my daughter had the chicken strips which my dog also got to taste. would definitely recommend.

  Delicious food at great prices

  We were traveling up 95 and stopped here. About 5 min off 95. Completely shaded patio with about 8 tables- we were the only ones eating outside. They brought a bowl of water for our dog with our drinks. He was happy the whole meal. One thing that was really cool was they have contactless menus due to covid!

  My pork “street taco” and fried green tomatoes were out of this world. My teenager loved her burger and my fussy 10 year old ate her non breaded chicken tenders and fries right up! We only ordered water- but our bill with tax and tip was $31 for dinner. I paid more at Panera for lunch. I will stop here again with or without dog!

  Fantastic lunch stop for me and my family!

  Nikolai Pappoochnik here, roaming NC. We stopped at Simple Twist in Smithfield, NC. I had to find the perfect spot for me and my family to have lunch.
  We could not have found a better place! A cool shady patio with a fresh water bowl for me. Fantastic food for my parents and Gammi. Great selection of food, craft beers and wines.
  The staff was so nice I can't wait to get to go back!

  Stopped for lunch with my husband, dog & cat ( in her carrier). We were treated so warmly & made to feel like valued customers. Food was excellent; our only regret is this restaurant isn't closer to our home.

  Very dog friendly, Excellent food and service

  We are sure glad we decided to stop here in downtown Smithfield. These folks immediately brought a bowl of ice water for our dog. The food here is farm to table, and is excellent. Most lunch items are around $10. Kids menu $5 including drink. Outdoor patio has 4 tables with four chairs and two with two. Highly recommend this place!
