After a day spent exploring art galleries in the River Arts District, walk Fido over to the district's Wedge Brewing Company where "beer is art." Leashed dogs are welcome at tables in the outdoor beer garden but not inside the tasting room located in the first floor of the Wedge Studios, named after the shape of the building. Choose from Iron Rail IPA, Payne's Pale Ale, Julian Price Pilsner, Derailed Hemp Ale, Golem, Community Porter and other seasonal offerings from the eight taps. Order a pint (or a sampler flight) and sit at a picnic table among the John Payne metal sculptures in the garden. Food trucks selling pizza, Mexican and Korean street foods, gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, or New Orleans-style soul food frequent the venue if hunger strikes.
