Located at the sprawling Broadway at the Beach shopping complex, the dog-friendly River Street Sweets is a charming candy shop offering tasty treats for every occasion. Marvel at the assortment of sweet selections that includes homemade pralines, bear claws, caramel candy apples, fudge, glazed pecans, peanut brittle, red velvet and German chocolate cake, salt water taffy, gourmet popcorn, and so much more. It's a must-see when visiting the Myrtle Beach area. Dogs can sit with their owners at front outdoor tables. River Street Sweets is open from 10am to 9pm Monday through Saturday and 10pm to 6pm on Sunday.

This isn’t a bakery, as the name implies.... it’s a store in a strip mall theme park that sells baked goods a scant step above prepackaged Little Debbie’s. We left without making a purchase based solely on the looks of the SAD available inventory.
