Hostess was a bit rude but the rest of the service and the food were great as well as the beer. You have to bring your dog around to the patio, DO NOT bring her into the restaurant when requesting a table.

This is my favorite celebratory spot after completing an ADK 46er High Peak. I come for the chill patio vibes & stay for the beer sips that my humans sneak me 😉
There are community water dishes for us pups, beer flights for the humans, and from what I hear ... the food is some of the best in the area. Check it out, and you'll sure to come back every time you're visiting the ADKs.

nice spot beautiful seating outside

So, it’s just my dog and I. No one else. Dogs are not allowed inside but only outside. How am I supposed to get a table when the hostess is INSIDE?! I had no choice but to pick him up in my arms, face the wrath of the hostess, and just tell her I need a table so I can get out of there. VERY inconvenient with one person and one dog. If someone can be with the dog while you get the table, or you call ahead, I think you will be more satisfied. Just made for an awkward start for us.

Go here. Just go. The food and beer are fantastic. They are complying with COVID requirements perfectly and the site is extremely clean. We honestly relaxed and enjoyed a wonderful dinner outside on the patio. Service was excellent. Do the waitlist option on Yelp. We found the timing to be on spot. Our Wheaton Terrier, Furrguson Woofster enjoyed his time social distancing with four other puppies and was welcomed by our server and the staff. Great dinner: our second visit !

They were quick to bring trigger his own bowl of water. Seating outside was only a 15 minute wait with a good atmosphere to hangout in. Worth going again!

Found this place here on bringfido.com and figured we would try it out, ended up being a great choice. Traveling in the area with our 60lb black lab. Plenty of parking on a Thursday evening at 6pm. We were going to try somewhere right down in the heart of lake placid but it was a little too busy and overwhelming for our taste. So luckily this place is a little more removed from main st. and quiet. I waited with our dog at the entrance while my husband went in to get a table. I walked back around front to the patio to meet my husband and we sat down with our dog. Nice round table with an umbrella and the waitress came out with a mini dog bowl and vase of water. This was a legit dog bowl with their restraunt name on it. She was very friendly with her. We ordered some food and got a flight of beer. Everything was quick, very good, and we had no complaints. A few other dogs were dining with their owners and they got to sniff and meet each other. There is a nice grassy area right off the patio with some adirondack chairs for a nice place to sit and relax with the dog. Was a great experience to be able to bring our dog to dinner with us and feel welcomed. Will definetly come back if we are in the area!
- TJul 6, 2018Good Food and Beer
Large patio with full drink and food service and grassy area by the patio. There were 3 other dogs when we arrived and we grabbed a corner where others came to greet our dog. She quickly laid down in the grass and hung out for dinner.
Don't expect restaurants to allow dogs inside in NY. I asked a place if the patio was dog friendly and they said as long as it never comes inside due to health codes. This was very dog friendly.

We took our smaller dog to the restaurant. My husband was holding her in his arms and we went to the hostess station right by the door. A man, who I assume was the owner, was eating at the bar and started waiving his arms angrily motioning us to go outside with our dog. It was pretty rude and if he had an issue he could have walked over politely. Finally we were taken around the building by the hostess and the dog area consisted of an out door cement patio with no shade. We left and did not patronize this place.

Great brewery with an eclectic, fun menu. Outdoor seating, water, and a bandana for pets. Has a large parking lot, which is nice for Lake Placid.
