Birchwood Cafe is dog-friendly, offering twenty tables outside for dog owners. Starting life as a dairy before becoming a neighborhood grocery, it finally transformed into the cafe that is there today. You and Fido will be able to get breakfast, lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The items on the menu change as the seasons do, with most of their produce coming from local organic farms. One of the most original items on the savory breakfast menu is the tofu hash with dandelion chimichurri, lemon tofu spread, pea pods and tendrils, beets, and fermented ramps. There are many items on the menu that are gluten-free and vegan. If you're planning on heading there later on in the day, you can check out the lunch menu for soups, salads, and pie. Birchwood Cafe is open weekdays from 7am to 9pm, Saturday from 8am to 9pm, and Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
