    The Beachcomber has four dog-friendly picnic tables. You can pop in with your pup and play a competitive game of corn hole, ring toss, pool, air hockey, or a number of video games. The menu on offer mainly consists of pub grub, like pizza, sandwiches, and burgers. For the younger diner, there's a kids' menu available. You can mosey on down on Friday for their country night and you can let Fido can partake in some good ol' line dancin'. The Beachcomber is open Monday through Friday from 3pm to 1am, Saturday from 2pm to 1am, and Sunday from 2pm to 1am. Visit Website

      Don't Come Here!

      My partner and I were in Hartford, CT for business with our pup. We stopped in Newport, RI for a day trip and went to a brewery in Portsmouth, RI and wanted a place to eat before we drove back to Hartford. We stopped at this place and it is a nice dive bar (pool, basic, dingy, food, etc). I was skeptical because I saw no outside tables. I went inside to ask and the waitress didn't know. She checked with her co-worker (I think it was a manager), and he said there are 4 tables out back that are inside a chain and you'd have to flag us down. There was a dark alley on one side of the building and no lights out back. It was a really odd situation. 0 BONES!
