Princess Pub & Grille

Princess Pub and Grill is a dog-friendly British Pub established in 1984. Dog owners wanting to enjoy a fine European ale or cider can do so alongside their furry friend at one of Princess' fifteen outdoor tables. The Pub and Grill's menu includes breakfast items such as a Shredded Beef Breakfast Skillet, and Egg, Chips and Banger, as well as appetizers, sandwiches, burgers, Pub Lite Fayre such as a Fish and Chips Wrap or an Oven Baked Pub Jacket Potatoe, soups, salads, and classics and specialties such as Housemade Steak and Mushroom, Steak and Ale Pie, Madras Curried Dishes, Shrimp Stuffed Roasted Cod and Slow Braised Beef Short Ribs. Diners with room for dessert can order a custom pint and an Apple Crumble A La Mode. Disappointing
As an avid traveler I have submitted many reviews, nearly all of them postitive. I rely on other people's experiences, and don't worry too much about the little things that aren't perfect. I was excited to check out this pub as I A: Love a good English pub, and B: Have my lab puppy with me. To say the service was poor is a gross understatement. Long story short, I had to get other tables to get the waitresses attention ( I was by myself and couldn't leave my pup to go inside) and once she finally brought my food, without silverware, she disappeared again, and again I had to rely on others to get her attention. I ended up just taking it to go. It was happy hour (which I was charged full price for the beer, as I ordered it 3 minutes before happy hour started), so my expectations were low, but the food was only edible to my pup. Again, he's a lab, so not that picky. Good location in Little Italy, and probably fine for a drink on the patio, but that's about it.
