This BBQ joint has a simple menu with smokey and sweet options like beef brisket, pulled pork, turkey breast, pork ribs, and Texas sausage. Get your meats by the pound or as a sandwich, with one of the sides, including potato salad, pinto beans, and chipotle coleslaw. If you have a sweet tooth, there is house-made cobbler, pecan, and buttermilk pie.       Huge patio

      They serve great BBQ, always generous portions, and a big patio out back where I've always found a table

      Outstanding patio and miniature golf too!

      If you have a dog, just go around to the side where the patio is. You can place your order from the drive-through or at the counter. The atmosphere is ultra-casual.

      This is a licensed barbecue joint with beer for adults and outdoor miniature golf for the kids. The shady trees create a much cooler atmosphere for dogs and humans to enjoy even on the hottest of afternoons. I enjoyed the sausage but my dog preferred the brisket. If Durango is your final destination and you're not going to try driving on the hairpin turns and deep drop-offs known as the 550, have a local brew. (If you're going anywhere near the 550, stay away from the beer and do your fellow drivers a favor.)

      I myself selected a nonalcoholic cream soda beverage, which was very tasty. Conventional fountain drinks, iced tea, and lemonade are available too.
